Abstract: The present invention relates to an active matrix display device, more particularly an electrowetting display device, comprising at least two rows of pixels and being provided with selection wires (RW) and data wires (COL) for addressing of the pixels. The pixels in each row are arranged with a respective connection (CW) to a common reset (RST) wire that is arranged to transmit a reset signal. The respective connection (CW) is arranged to be interconnected with the data wire (COL) of the pixel when the pixel is addressed. Further, the respective connection (CW) is arranged with a signal blocking element (D) for preventing a data signal of the pixel from propagating via the reset wire (RST) to pixels in the same row.

Abstract: A Trusted Service Manager (TSM) receives via a first communication channel from a Service Provider (SP) a request (REQ(MIA)) that contains an application (MIA) together with a unique identifier of a mobile phone (MOB), particularly its telephone number. The mobile phone (MOB) is equipped with a memory device (MIF) that comprises multiple memory sectors being protected by sector keys. Preferably the memory device (MIF) is a MIFARE device. The TSM extracts the application (MIA) and the unique identifier from the received request, assigns destination sector(s) and associated sector key(s) of the memory device (MIF), compiles the application (MIA), the sector key(s) and the sector number(s) of the destination sector(s) into a setup-message (SU(MIA)), encrypts the setup-message and transmits it to either the mobile phone via a second communication channel or the Service Provider via the first communication channel (CN).
Abstract: The present invention relates to a FinFET with separate gates and to a method for fabricating the same. A dielectric gate-separation layer between first and second gate electrodes has an extension in a direction pointing from a first to a second gate layer that is smaller than a lateral extension of the fin between its opposite lateral faces. This structure corresponds with a processing method that starts from a covered basic FinFET structure with a continuous first gate layer, and proceeds to remove parts of the first gate layer and of a first gate-isolation layer through a contact opening to the gate layer. Subsequently, a replacement gate-isolation layer that at the same time forms the gate separation layer fabricated, followed by filling the tunnel with a replacement gate layer and a metal filling.
Abstract: A sheet processing apparatus includes a laterally moveable post-processing module moveable from a predetermined operating position to a predetermined lateral delivery position and a control unit. The control unit is configured to operate the post-processing module such that a lateral delivery position for a set of at least one sheet is determined, the post-processing module is moved to the operating position, the post-processing module is operable to subsequently engage the set of at least one sheet to obtain a processed set of at least one sheet, then move the post-processing module from the operating position to the delivery position in coupling engagement with the processed set of at least one sheet, to move the processed set of at least one sheet to the lateral delivery position and disengage the post-processing module to deliver the processed set of at least one sheet at the lateral delivery position.

The compositions provide articles with low haze, high luminous transmittance, and good hydro-aging properties. The articles can further be formulated to have excellent flame retardance, particularly when KSS is used.
Abstract: A lithographic apparatus comprises an illumination system for supplying a beam of radiation, a patterning arrangement incorporating an array of individually controllable elements for imparting a pattern to the beam cross-section, a substrate table for supporting a substrate, and a projection system incorporating a microlens array for projecting the beam onto a target portion of the substrate. An error compensator is provided for supplying error correction values for compensating for the effect of positional errors in the microlens array, and a grey scale modulator is provided for supplying drive signals to controllable elements of the patterning arrangement in dependence on the error correction values in order to compensate for the effect of positional errors in the microlens array by varying the intensity of some parts of the pattern relative to other parts of the pattern.

Abstract: A method, according to one embodiment, includes forming a lubricant film on a magnetic disk having at least a magnetic recording film above a substrate, and a protective film above the magnetic recording film, and wiping the lubricant film while rotating the substrate, e.g., at about 3.0 m/s to about 3.5 m/s by pressing a pad against a wiping cloth e.g., at a loading speed of about 12 mm/min to about 36 mm/min e.g., under a pressure of about 3 gf/mm2 to about 9 gf/mm2. The pad has a convexly curved surface in contact with the wiping cloth, and the wiping cloth is disposed so as to oppose the lubricant film. The method also includes pressing a cleaning tape which includes abrasive grains against the substrate on which the protective film and lubricant film are formed while rotating the substrate to remove protrusions. Apparatuses and forming the layers are also described.

Abstract: A data bus line control circuit prevents a problem of a data access operation on a global data bus (GDB) line although two blocks are simultaneously selected. The data bus line control circuit includes: a global data bus line which is arranged between memory units adjacent to each other as two pairs, and transmits a data from a local data bus line positioned between adjacent sub blocks; and transmission means which is connected between the local data bus line and the global data bus line, and transmits bit line signals of two sub blocks to one pair of global data bus lines different from each other through the local data bus line, when the two sub blocks are simultaneously selected by a block isolation selection signal. As a result, a circuit arrangement and a layout design become simplified, and two operations of 8K refresh and 4K refresh are possible in one chip, therefore, two kinds of effects can be achieved by one chip.
