Abstract: A copper clad laminate includes a glass fiber substrate and at least a copper foil on the glass fiber substrate. The glass fiber substrate is made by impregnating glass fiber fabrics in an impregnation liquid to form prepregs, and then the prepregs are laid up with a copper foil to form the copper clad laminate by a hot press molding. The impregnation liquid includes resin and a filler in a range between 5 PHR and 80 PHR, wherein the filler includes silica and at least a metallic oxide, of which a metallic atom is selected from the groups IIA or IIIA elements in the periodic table, to form a composite material with an amorphous network structure that the copper clad laminate will have a suitable hardness and a coefficient of thermal expansion.

Abstract: This invention provides a fusion protein (FP4) and the code gene, expression method, and clinical application; its goal is to provide a fusion protein, the code gene, and the expression method as well as to take this fusion protein as the active constituent anti-allergic medicine. In addition, the invention provides the sequence of fusion protein attached on SEQ ID 2 and any derivation protein of the fusion protein (FP4) which includes adding or deleting several amino acids of SEQ ID 2 as well as increasing or deducing nuclear tides of SEQ ID 1. We designed to cross-link IgE active receptor and an IgG inhibitory receptor by endogens hinge without any extraneous chemical link. This invention fusion protein has function to block the IgE acceptor, moreover fragment of fusion protein has ability to specifically bind to a native IgG inhibitory receptor containing immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif, thereby inhibiting the IgE-driven mediator release from mast cells and basophils.

Abstract: A method of covering a polyolefin surface with flocculent includes applying a polyolefin-bondable adhesive to at least a portion of a polyolefin surface located on a structure. An epoxy bond material is then applied to the portion of the structure. Then, a flocculent is applied to the portion of the structure. The polyolefin-bondable adhesive and the epoxy bond material can be applied by submerging the portion of polyolefin surface into each. An apparatus includes a structure having a polyolefin surface selected from a group consisting of polyethylene and polypropylene. A layer polyolefin-bondable adhesive overlies and abuttingly contacts a portion of the polyolefin surface of the structure. A layer of epoxy bond material overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of polyolefin-bondable adhesive. A flocculent overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of epoxy bond material.

A tray is carried within the container for axial movement relative to a longitudinal axis of the container from a lower storage position. A lid releasably fits over the top of the container. A rod extends between the tray and the lid. Brushes are carried in the container, with lower ends supported on the tray and bristles supported by the sidewall of the container. Lifting the lid causes the tray to move upward and the bristles of the brushes to move above the top of the container for access by a user.

The strap includes an end extending from the first side of the head. A tag is embedded in the head or the strap. A signal-transmitting line is embedded in at least one of the head and the strap and extends from the tag. The strap is extendable through the through-hole of the head along a tightening direction, forming a tightening space, with an engaging member on the strap engaging with another engaging member on the head to prevent the strap from moving in an unfastening direction. The electronic seal can be used in a tracking system that allows a cargo or goods owner to notice breakage of the electronic seal in real time.

Abstract: An optical switch is provided in which a cell comprised of photopolymer dispersed in a liquid crystal sandwiched between two transparent plates is first recorded with a grating utilizing two plane wave laser beams interacting at an angle. This grating is permanently established in the cell such that when the cell is illuminated the incoming beam is diffracted in accordance with the spatial frequency of the grating. When an electric signal is applied across the cell, the refractive index of the liquid crystal matches that of the photopolymer due to the molecular orientation of the liquid crystal and no diffraction occurs because the grating formed in the liquid crystal is temporarily erased or over written. The liquid crystal cell therefore becomes transparent with the application of the electrical signal. Switching occurs by whether or not the grating is present or not, which is in turn dependent upon whether or not there is an electrical signal applied across the cell.

At least one vertical hole is defined in an upper end thereof and communicated with the compartment, and at least one transverse hole is defined in the upper side thereof. The vertical roller assembly includes a first roller rotatably received in the compartment. The first roller has a diameter greater than a width of the main body and smaller than a width of a track so as to be in a rolling contact with two inner lateral walls of the track. The horizontal roller assembly includes a second roller rotatably attached to a lateral side of the main body. The second roller is in a rolling contact with the inner face of the bottom wall of the track.

Abstract: A combined aerobic and anaerobic treating method and facility for treating hog wastewater, in which, wastewater flows through six consecutive steps, namely: 1 raw wastewater tank 2 grit removal chamber 3 natural solid-liquid separation device 4 equalization basin 5 aeration tank and 6 final clarifier, and is effectively treated by way of microbiological technology, without adding any chemical precipitatant or coagulant, from highly polluted hog wastewater to qualified effluent for normal discharge. Not only can it help reduce river pollution, but also will be free from secondary pollution by adding chemical additives. An organic fertilizer, which can be directly utilized is a by product.

Abstract: A weighing device includes a housing disposed on an upper end of a post, a displayer disposed on the housing, a piezoelectric element disposed in the housing and having one end located above the opening of the housing, an air bag disposed on a base, a tube coupled to the post and connected to the air bag, and an expandable member disposed on an upper end of the tube for pushing the piezoelectric element when an object is put on the air bag. A signal corresponding to the weight of the object is generated and displayed on the displayer.

Abstract: A student's multi-function protractor for conveniently drawing different geometric figures including a transparent middle plate which fits on the retainment space between an upper base and a lower base. The middle plate is rotatable in the retainment space. The circumferential edge with the middle plate of the upper base has a 360 degree scale. In addition, the middle plate has a plurality of parallel grooves which are scattered on one side from the central point for providing direct drawings. By accompanied with the grooves, scales and the indication elements on the middle plate, the protractor of this invention is used to easily draw different geometric figures.
