Abstract: The disclosure relates to a tiltable joint brace for a joint orthesis, comprising: two articulated limbs pivotably mounted on each other in a bearing arrangement, wherein the head of the first articulated limb supports a bearing arrangement which can be connected to the head of the second articulated limb by non-positive and positive fit in order to form the pivot joint. A curved sliding surface is formed on the bearing arrangement, and the head rests on the curved sliding surface with positive fit. There, the second articulated limb can tilt freely toward the pivot axis of the joint brace against the first articulated limb.
Abstract: A pad, in particular for orthopedic aids, comprising a pad pressure element. The invention also relates to orthoses, bandages, or compression garments which comprise pads according to the invention.
Abstract: A thumb orthosis, particular for correcting malpositions of the thumb in the carpometacarpal joint, includes a) a substantially dimensionally stable molded body bent in a U-shape, which is fitted on the hand between the thumb and index finger in the applied state and supports the thumb and fixes it at a distance from the index finger, wherein the molded body bent in a U-shape has a first end portion and a second end portion, and b) a strap which is fastened by one strap end to the first end portion of the molded body, wherein the second end portion of the molded body has a guiding element for guiding the strap, for example has a turning element for turning the strap back.
Abstract: The invention relates to deflector (100) to deflect rope (130) in orthopedic or medical accessories, or athletic accessories, whereby the deflector comprises at least first subcomponent (110) and second subcomponent (120), whereby first subcomponent (110) and second subcomponent (120) are adjustable, respectively, with only one degree of freedom against one another, and whereby first subcomponent (110) and second subcomponent (120) exhibit, respectively, at least one rope guidance element (111, 112, 121, 122) to deflect rope (130).
Abstract: This invention relates to a polymer composition containing at least one polymer and at least one agent, formed bodies having such a polymer composition, the use of the formed bodies and polymer compositions, and corresponding threads, nonwoven materials, clothing articles, and medical aids.
Abstract: The application relates to an active joint orthosis, particularly an orthosis for the hip joint, with an extended therapeutic function and including a joint splint with articulated arms that can be pivoted relative to one another and a pad that can be actively moved via a coupling joint or cam profile on one articulated arm.
Abstract: An articular support for supporting bones connected to one another by joints, includes at least one support splint, which is structured in at least two segments. The support splint has at least one guide per segment to receive a reinforcing element for longitudinal coupling of the at least two segments and coupling means for transverse coupling of this support splint to at least one additional neighboring support splint.
