Abstract: A pad for a bandage or orthosis has a front surface and a rear surface. At least a subarea of the rear surface has connection pieces which form a mesh structure having interstices.
Abstract: Textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread. The adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.
Abstract: The invention relates to a variable orthopaedic back shell having two side shell parts, which can be used as a back orthosis or as a holder for other orthoses, for example shoulder orthoses. The invention also relates to an orthosis which includes a back shell according to the invention, and to the orthopedic use of the back shells.

Abstract: The invention relates to a recliner-type orthosis comprising a lap belt or pelvic strap (30), a rigid recliner rail (10) over the spinal column, and two individually tightenable shoulder straps (23, 24), each of which extends from a lower portion (12) of then recliner rail (10), forms a shoulder strap, and is guided backwards via guides (18, 19) on a top portion (14) of the recliner rail (10), where the two shoulder straps (23, 24) intersect in a central point of intersection (29) and then run contralaterally towards the front, intersect in lateral points of intersection (27, 28) and can finally be tightly attached to the lap belt (30).
Abstract: A tensioning device for orthoses for supporting and maintaining the function of the human body, particularly body-encompassing back orthoses, allows for an individual, segmental adjustment of the supporting effect through individually, separately designed pulley assemblies which can be attached individually and height-adjustably to a backplate designed as central element.

Abstract: The present invention relates to visco-elastic inserts, in particular to shoe inserts, and in particular to heel supports having a main body with regions of dissimilar hardness.
Abstract: The invention relates to a tiltable joint brace for a joint orthesis, comprising: two articulated limbs pivotably mounted on each other in a bearing arrangement, wherein the head of the first articulated limb supports a bearing arrangement which can be connected to the head of the second articulated limb by non-positive and positive fit in order to form the pivot joint. A curved sliding surface is formed on the bearing arrangement, and the head rests on the curved sliding surface with positive fit. There, the second articulated limb can tilt freely toward the pivot axis of the joint brace against the first articulated limb.
