Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved process for the production of artificial turf, and the improved artificial turf. In accordance with this process, fibers are treated via corona discharge, tufted into a primary backing to form a greige good, and a precoat is applied to the back surface the greige good. Suitable fibers are polyolefins, and suitable precoats are reactive polyurethane mixtures. The fibers may be treated by corona discharge either before they are tufted into the primary backing to form the greige good or after the are tufted into the primary backing. Artifical turfs of the present invention comprise a greige good having fibers tufted into a primary backing, with the fibers being treated by corona discharge either before or after being tufted into the primary backing, and a precoat which is attached by its face surface to the back surface of the greige good.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device as well as a method for the saving or storage of data on physically different storage devices. By distributing the data to physically different storage devices, the deletion or removal of specific data is simplified. In addition, the specific storage and protection of data, for example depending on its relevance, is thus made possible. In addition, under data security aspects exists the advantageous option to store data sets differently such that that it is impossible at all times that physical data sets are present in a storage device, which may not actually be accessed without authorization, such that data can also be securely transferred in this respect. Furthermore, for the devices and the method according to the invention, no complicated aids are required to ensure the complete, i.e. outright physical deletion of all data.

Abstract: A device and a method with a memory for the storage of data with a means for limiting the access rights to the data for a user. Usernames provided at authentication posse specific user rights, such as super administrator rights or independent inheritance rights. Thus the rights management is simplified to a certain degree, since the administrator is not required to assign rights to additional users. Furthermore, a temporal process of rights control is provided, whereby the administrator is not required to controlling the granting or terminating rights.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel process for preparing 2,4,5-trimethylphenyl-acetic acid by reacting pseudocumene with dichloroacetyl chloride in a Friedel-Crafts reaction to give 2,2-dichloro-1-(2,4,5-trimethylphenyl)ethanone, converting the 2,2-dichloro-1-(2,4,5-trimethylphenyl)ethanone to 2,4,5-trimethylmandelic acid using an alkali metal hydroxide and reducing the 2,4,5-trimethylmandelic acid to 2,4,5-tri-methylphenylacetic acid.
Abstract: Block polymers suitable for the preparation of data storage media are disclosed. The media produced of the inventive of the polymers has thickness in the range of a few millimeters. In contrast with currently available materials that feature high optical density the inventive polymers feature increased dilution of dyes (decrease in optical density) and decrease in the holographic diffraction efficiency.
