  • Patent number: 10572536
Abstract: A social networking system provides feed to users in response to requests from users. The feed includes feed stories that include one or more of text, image, or videos. The social networking system generates a feed in which the number of video feed stories is determined based on the video feed story rate determined for each specific request. The social networking system determines the video feed story rate based on various features including features describing the request, for example, the time of the day that the request is received. The social networking system may include other features for determining the video feed story rate, for example, user specific features describing the user that sent the request. The social networking system sends the generated feed to the client device of the target user.

  • Patent number: 10574824
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for facilitating agent interactions with customers of an enterprise, one or more intents corresponding to an input provided by a customer during a conversation with a Virtual Agent (VA) are predicted. A confidence score corresponding to each intent is computed. The confidence score is indicative of an ability of the VA to provide an effective response to the input. The confidence score corresponding to each intent is compared with a predefined threshold score. If the confidence score is less than the predefined threshold score, the conversation is deflected from the VA to a human agent to respond to the input of the customer. The conversation is deflected from the human agent to the VA for a subsequent input if a respective confidence score of at least one intent predicted for the subsequent input is greater than or equal to the predefined threshold score.

  • Patent number: 10574533
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product to manage a network comprising a plurality of interconnected components are described. The method includes obtaining a set of all the components that are part of the network over time, and identifying one or more repeating patterns of components among the set of all the components as corresponding lower-level definitions to generate a hierarchical set of all the components. The method also includes obtaining time-varying information regarding topology and operational values within the network, and creating a representation of the network at a set of times based on the hierarchical set of all the components and the time-varying information.

  • Patent number: 10568832
Abstract: There is provided a method for preparing an orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) composition comprising microparticles of one or more taste-masked active pharmaceutical ingredient(s), rapidly-dispersing microgranules, and other optional, pharmaceutically acceptable excipients wherein the ODT disintegrates on contact with saliva in the buccal cavity in about 60 seconds forming a smooth, easy-to-swallow suspension. Furthermore, the microparticles (crystals, granules, beads or pellets containing the active) applied with a taste-masking membrane comprising a combination of water-insoluble and gastrosoluble polymers release not less than about 60% of the dose is in the stomach in about 30 minutes, thus maximizing the probability of achieving bioequivalence to the reference IR product having rapid onset of action (short Tmax). A process for preparing such compositions for oral administration using conventional fluid-bed equipment and rotary tablet press is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10572894
Abstract: An ad player presents ads in association with a video player by evaluating an associated ad script. The ad player transforms data included in the ad script into operational instructions. Hence, the ad player flexibly and dynamically configures itself and presents ads in accordance with the contents of the ad script, enabling a publisher to modify advertising aspects simply by modifying the ad script. The ad script can comprise a script in a tag-based markup language that is readable by the ad player. For example, the ad script can include one or more tags, each tag including one or more attributes that are each set to a value. The ad player determines the values of the attributes and presents ads in accordance with associated ad characteristics or behaviors.
