Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system and method for streaming data contained in a file being transferred via FTP to one or more client applications. A streaming software module may call a subscription API when a file is being transferred via FTP. The streaming module may call the subscription API to stream data contained in the file to one or more client applications while the file is being downloaded. One or more client applications may use a client API to receive the data stream.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system and method for providing supplemental content. Media content is displayed on a display device. An indication is displayed on the display device to alert a user of the availability of supplemental content related to the media content if it is determined that supplemental content is available. The supplemental content is retrieved from one or more servers in response to user input, and the supplemental content is displayed on the display device by overlaying the supplemental content on top of the media content.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes personalized active screensavers which are actionable and react to user preferences and user details. A presence of an individual is detected. The individual is analyzed to determine information related to the individual. Content is displayed on a display based on the determined information related to the individual. A screensaver mode is initiated on the display in response to the individual moving out of a predetermined range.

Abstract: Systems and methods may provide tools for uniformly visualizing a series of one or more orders, wherein orders of vastly different prices, order types, and order assets may be commingled on the same display screen. Such a collection of tools may be sorted for display. The displays may be buy/sell independent, handle any size bid/ask spread, and allow easy determination of the relative marketability of each order. Such systems and methods may help a user to focus on orders requiring the most attention.

Abstract: A bezel-less display is disclosed that includes an electronic display device and a cover. The electronic display device has an image-displaying portion and another portion adjacent the image-displaying portion along at least one side. The cover, which may include a glass or plastic sheet, is positioned adjacent the electronic display device and includes a first portion positioned adjacent the image-displaying portion of the display device and a second portion positioned adjacent the other portion of the display device. The optical properties of the first portion are also selected to transmit images displayed on the image-displaying portion and the optical properties of the second portion are selected to mask the other portion of the display device.

Abstract: In electronic trading venues, there may be orders for which the full information is not publicly displayed. For example, the full quantity of an order available for trading or the most aggressive price at which an order can be traded may not be made public. A system and method are disclosed that facilitates trading based on this non-public information. A first order associated with a financial instrument is placed at a venue to probe for non-public information related to the financial instrument. The results of the probe may then be used to place a second order at the venue that takes advantage of any discovered non-public information.

Abstract: A radio frequency transponder, or a device that comprises a radio frequency transponder, wherein the radio frequency transponder is operative in invoking self-programming of data stored in the radio frequency transponder. In some implementations the radio frequency transponder selectively enables the transmission of a unique identifier by selectively programming the unique identifier stored in the radio frequency transponder. In various implementations, the radio frequency transponder programs data stored in the transponder by generating a signal that is reactively coupled to the antenna of the radio frequency transponder.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products stored on a computer readable medium or media are described for providing pricing of mortgage-backed securities and other financial instruments. Multiple cashflow paths resulting from different interest rate development scenarios are consolidated into a single cashflow path. A continuously compounded interest rate spread (“equivalent cc spread”) corresponding to the option adjusted spread prevailing at the market is determined, as is a relationship between the two. Reformulating computations of option adjusted spreads and prices using an equivalent cc spread and factoring out assumption changes approximates individual cashflow path and interest rate path calculations and allows use of consolidated cashflows calculations as a very good approximation.

Abstract: A system and method of determining data latency in a network is provided. A first data sample of application level data (e.g., financial data) is provided from a data stream received at a first network point. A second data sample of application level data (e.g., financial data) is also provided from a data stream received at a second network point, where the data streams in the first and second network points include common data and the first and second data samples include common data. A correlation between common data in the first and second data samples is determined and a time difference between the correlated common data in the first and second data samples is then calculated.

Information used to present a citation index may be maintained in a computer-readable storage medium, and this information may include text in a citing document that immediately precedes a citation, immediately follows it, or both. Accordingly, one or more entries in a citation index may include display of one or more citations in the context in which the citations originally appeared. Computerized systems and methods for causing such display are also provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to computerized systems and methods for automatically translating text between natural languages. Text for translation may be broken into segments, which may themselves be templates including placeholders. If an exact match for a segment is found in a translation database, the segment may be matched with its translation from the database. Otherwise, alternate source language text, corresponding to the segment, for which an exact translation is available, may be identified and presented to the user for selection. Text selected by the user may replace the original segment and be matched with its translation. Translation of a segment may be influenced by other translated segments. Additionally, translations may be modified as the user interactively enters and edits text.

An index of such documents may be referred to as a citation index or citator. A citation may be preceded in a citing document by introductory text, which may be called a signal, and one or more entries in a citation index may indicate which signal, if any, introduced a recorded citation.
