Abstract: A windup window shade is provided with windup window shade means which, in the extracted state, make possible different degrees of opacity at the window. To this end, the two window shade web can either be wound on separate windup shafts and spread out in the same direction from the same starting point, or the two window shade webs have been connected with each other and, after having been extended, are moved in the manner of a film in front of the window. Two windup shafts are employed in both cases, wherein in the one case the two windup shafts are located directly next to each other, while in the other case the windup shafts are separated from each other during the extension of the shade.

Abstract: A separation device for a motor vehicle, with a flexible flat shaped article, which is held on a winding shaft located in a box housing between a rolled-in rest position and a pulled-out protective position which is rigidly connected to the vehicle with holding devices, in a manner so it can be rolled in and rolled out, where a return spring arrangement applies pressure in the roll-in direction onto the winding shaft. According to the invention, the return spring arrangement is formed by a series or parallel connection of a stronger wound spring and a weaker convenience spring, where the switching is designed in such a manner that, between the rolled-up rest position and a first pull-out position, the stronger roll-up force is applied, and, from the first pull-out position on, for a limited time, a smaller roll-up force is applied, for the transfer into the suspended protective position, and in that the wound spring is associated with a damping element.

Abstract: For closing the outlet slit of a window shade in a rear window shelf of a motor vehicle, a winding shaft of the rear window shade is seated in a window shade support which is movable in relation to the underside of the rear window shelf. By reason of such arrangement, it is possible either to use the window shade support itself for closing the slit when the window shade web is in the retracted position, or the winding shaft can be moved to close to the slit.

Such construction can be used in passenger cars of the sedan type.

Abstract: A windup window shade for motor vehicles has a rotatably seated windup shaft, on which a window shade web is fastened by an edge. The other edge is fastened on a traction rod, whose ends are guided in guide rails. The distance between the guide rails changes very greatly, viewed in the direction of movement of the window shade web, because of which the length of the traction rod can be changed in a telescope-like manner. It is composed of a center element and two end elements, wherein it is provided with the aid of a centering device that the center element always remains centered in respect to the end elements.

Abstract: A cargo area divider, has a flexible planar structure that can be pulled out and is held at a rear end on a roller-shade shaft and at a front end is equipped with a pull-out bar that extends over the entire width of the planar structure. The pull-out bar is conformingly into a hollow chamber region of a cover profile extending at least over the width of the planar structure.

Abstract: A protecting device for securing a storage space in the interior of a vehicle has a winding shaft associated, both in the pullout and in the rollup direction, with a control device which determines the rotations of the winding shaft as well as a selected protective position of the flat shaped article, and which, independently of the determined position, limits the pullout path for the flat shaped article to a length corresponding to the selected protective position, or releases it to be completely pulled out.

Abstract: A separating device (13) includes a separating net or a separating grid (14) of a flexible material. On two edges (16, 17) of the separating net (14) that run parallel to one another, in each case a stiffening strut (19, 21) is provided. One of the two stiffening struts (19) serves for the anchoring of the separating device underneath the vehicle roof while the other stiffening strut (21) is anchored at a distance from the roof lining, for example on the (rear) seat back or on the floor of the load compartment. The two stiffening struts (19, 21) contain in each case a hinge (30). In this manner the separating device (13) can be folded up along its width and thereupon rolled-up. A packing device (96, 97) in the form of a pocket provided on the separating device (13) serves for securing of the folded separating device (13) in the packed position.

Abstract: A window shade component group which includes a window shade supporting windup shaft with bearing devices for rotatably supporting opposite ends of the windup shaft. At least one of the bearing devices is provided with a blocking device, which is effective for maintaining a spring drive of the windup shaft in the wound position after assembly of the windup shaft. Following installation of the window shade component group in a motor vehicle or appropriate housing, the blocking device is releasable as an incident to actuation of the windup shaft.

Window shade strips assigned to the respective winding shafts are moved in at least one direction with the aid of a common driving motor. For this purpose, the electric motor can be coupled to the free edges of the window shade strips or directly coupled to the winding shafts.

Abstract: A louver for a louver blind curtain comprising two parts which can be moved in a telescope-like manner with respect to each other. By means of a rubber traction device, the louver parts are subjected to pre-tension in the direction toward the shortened position of the louver. The louver curtain comprises a multitude of louvers whose length can be automatically changed and which are guided at both ends on guide tracks. The connection between the louver and each guide track is achieved by a respective slider, where the slider is provided at one end of the louvers with a drive, to change the angular position of the louvers. In addition, those sliders which travel the longest distance during the opening and the closing of the curtain are provided with screwed spindle drives.

Abstract: A rear windowpane roll-up blind is reeled out with the aid of actuating levers 9, 11. The actuating levers 9, 11 are the sole elements which carry the pull rod 13 of the roll-up blind 5. In order to prevent a damaging of the heating wires on the inside of the rear window pane 4, guide rollers 56 are rotatably supported on the outer ends of the pull rod 13. Mechanisms 42 70 are provided which allow the guide rollers 56 to yield under spring tension so that the force with which the rollers 56 are pressed on the pane 4 is held within a prescribed range regardless of installation and vehicle body tolerances.
