Abstract: A window roller blind assembly for motor vehicles which includes a roller blind that can be drawn from a wind-up shaft by a motor driven driving element engageable with a pull rod of the roller blind. To prevent pinching as a result of the pull rod engaging an obstacle during operation of the roller blind assembly, an electrical system is provided for monitoring operation of the roller blind motor. The system is operable for switching off current to the motor when a preset value is exceed, which is interpreted as a signal that pinching or squeezing of an obstacle is occurring.
Abstract: A rear-window roller blind assembly for motor vehicles in which the roller blind is movable out of a pull-out slit to an extended position through movement of a pull-out element on a free edge thereof. The pull-out element includes a center piece and relatively movable end pieces shaped so that when the pull-out element is in a retracted position the pull-out slit is covered over its entire length by the pull-out element.
Abstract: A protective device for a motor vehicle luggage area has a flexible flat article, which is movably mounted between a compact, deposited protection position and at least one extracted protection position. There are at least two parallel, spaced functional shafts to which the flat article is connected. The position of the flat article is detected and a controller, as a function of the detected position, controls the functional shafts in such a way that the flat article in a first, roughly horizontally extracted protection position has a first, light-proof surface structural portion and in a second, vertically extracted protection position a second, light-transmitting surface structural portion.

Abstract: A window roller blind assembly for motor vehicles which includes a roller blind affixed at one end to a wind-up shaft for extended and retracted movement with respect to a window of the motor vehicle. A bearing device is provided for the wind-up shaft that permits selective axial positioning of the wind-up shaft for enabling precise positioning of the roller blind with respect to the window with which the assembly is used.
Abstract: A window roller blind assembly for motor vehicles which includes a roller blind that can be drawn from a wind-up shaft by a motor driven driving element engageable with a pull rod of the roller blind. The pull rod, which is guided for movement in guide rails, has a braking device that causes at least part of the driving force necessary for moving the window shade to be fed into the guide rail to brake further movement of the roller blind when the pull rod bumps into an obstacle.
Abstract: A side window roll-up shade for a passenger car has bearing arrangement on both ends. One of the two bearing arrangements is provided with a threaded stem that extends over only a short distance of the wind-up shaft and which is anchored either in the wind-up shaft or the car body. Therefore, the assembly is limited to those parts responsible for axial movement on the associated wind-up shaft end.
Abstract: A fastening device for a vehicle area with at least one reception rail fixed to the vehicle has associated therewith an additional functional profile. The additional functional profile permits the binding of further components to the reception rail. In one embodiment, the functional profile includes a plastic envelope profile surrounding the reception rail. In a further embodiment, a fastening block is placed in the reception rail, and can be secured in the reception rail.
Abstract: A window shade assembly for motor vehicles which has a pivotable cover provided on the slot through which the window shade is extendable and retractable. The cover is prestressed into an open position by an opening spring for enabling extraction of the window shade. The cover is closed by excess travel of a window shade actuating element that serves for moving a tension rod of the window shade to the extracted position.
Abstract: A separating device for a vehicle interior, with at least one dimensionally stable flat structure, is positioned upright in a protection position. At least one transparent disk element is associated with the flat structure and is mounted so as to move in translatory manner parallel to the flat structure. In a protection position, it extends the flat structure in the vehicle height direction.
Abstract: A window shade component group which includes a window shade supporting windup shaft with bearing devices for rotatably supporting opposite ends of the windup shaft. Abstract: A through-seat holder for a motor vehicle has a vehicle frame having generally parallel longitudinal members and transverse side members interconnecting ends of the longitudinal members and defining therewith a throughgoing opening. The longitudinal members are spaced apart by a predetermined transverse distance and form a pair of parallel outwardly facing guide faces flanking the opening and spaced apart by a predetermined transverse dimension greater than the transverse distance. A device frame fittable in the opening of the vehicle frame has generally parallel longitudinal members and transverse side members interconnecting ends of the respective longitudinal members. One of the device-frame transverse members is formed with a rim having a transverse width equal substantially to the dimension so that the rim cannot pass through the opening when extending transversely. The rim forms a pair of transversely spaced contact points engageable with the faces and defining a transversely extending pivot axis.
