Abstract: The invention relates to a method (100) for controlling an inverter (260), wherein the inverter (260) converts a DC voltage into a multi-phase AC voltage in order to power an electric machine (270). The method comprises the following steps: determining (120) an electrical frequency (f_el) of the electric machine (270); determining (130) a target_switching frequency (f_p_s) for a pulse-width modulation, wherein the target_switching frequency (f_p_s) is synchronous with the determined electrical frequency (f_el) of the electric machine; specifying (140) a target_start angle (alpha_s) of a first voltage indicator of the pulse-width modulation in relation to the stator-fixed alpha axis, or to one of the basic voltage indicators; controlling (150) the inverter (260) by means of pulse-width modulation using the determined target_switching frequency (f_p_s) and the specified target_start angle (alpha_s).
Abstract: A machine learning system and method of operating a machine learning system for determining a time series, comprising providing an input for a first in particular generative model depending on a probabilistic variable, determining an output of the first model in response to the input for the first model, the output of the first model characterizing the time series. The first model comprises a first layer that is trained to map input for the first model determined depending on the probabilistic variable to output characterizing intermediate data, and a second layer that is trained to map the intermediate data to the time series depending on an output of a third layer of the first model. The output of the third layer characterizes a physical constraint to a machine state. Values of the time series or of the intermediate data are constrained by the output of the third layer.
Abstract: A method of training a control strategy for a control. An exploration strategy for a current version of the control strategy is determined in each of several iterations. Several simulation runs are carried out, in each of which an action is selected in accordance with the exploration strategy, and it being checked if the selected action is safe, until a safe action has been selected or a maximum number of actions greater than or equal to two has been selected. A follow-up state of the state in the sequence of states is ascertained. The sequence of states are collected as data of the simulation run; for the iteration. The value of a loss function is ascertained over the data of the executed simulation runs and the control strategy is adapted so that the value of the loss function is reduced.

Abstract: The invention relates to the verification of operating parameters, in particular input and output values of a DC-to-DC converter which are detected by a sensor. For this purpose, the ratio between the input current and the output current of a DC-to-DC converter is calculated on the basis of two different calculation methods, wherein the different calculation methods are at least partly based on different parameters. If the two calculation methods lead to the same or at least approximately the same ratio of input current to output current, a plausibility check can thus be run on the reliability of the parameters being used.
