  • Patent number: 8817133
Abstract: In a digital camera 1, when a lagged-timing is recorded (Yes at Step S9), from the frame image picked up when the shutter is fully depressed, a frame image picked up at a timing equivalent to the lagged-timing is displayed (Step S10). When the cross-shaped key is operated before the SET key is operated, the displayed frame image is changed based on the operation (Step S12 and Step S13). Next, when the SET key is operated, the displayed frame image is recorded. In addition, a lag between the timing at which the recorded frame image is picked up and the timing at which the frame image picked up when the shutter is fully depressed is picked up is recorded (Step S15).

  • Patent number: 8817075
Abstract: An imaging apparatus generates a 3D model using a photographed image of a subject and generates a 3D image based on the 3D model. When a corresponding point corresponding to a point forming the 3D model does not form a 3D model generated using a photographed image photographed at a different photographing position, the imaging apparatus determines that the point is noise, and removes the point determined as noise from the 3D model. The imaging apparatus generates a 3D image based on the 3D model from which the point determined as noise is removed.

  • Patent number: 8817171
Abstract: In an imaging apparatus having LED 1j for emitting light toward an object, an imaging unit 1 having CCD 1d generates a first object image with LED 1j emitting light and a second object image with LED 1j emitting no light. Average brightness of the first object image and average brightness of the second object image are calculated. Brightness difference between the average brightness of the first object image and the average brightness of the second object image is calculated. Brightness difference of the object is obtained using the calculated brightness difference between the first and second object images, and under control of CPU 9, a process is executed for adjusting exposure conditions based on the brightness difference of the object.

  • Patent number: 8804882
Abstract: Suitable gain control is achieved at low cost. In a receiving apparatus, an RF signal that is amplified by an RF amp is converted to an IF frequency by a frequency conversion unit and amplified by an IF amp, then the output signal from the IF amp that was converted to a digital signal by an ADC is inputted to a digital processing unit. The output from the ADC is then filtered to a desired frequency by a digital filter and inputted to the digital processing unit. In the digital processing unit the signal power before filtering by the digital filter and the signal power after filtering by the digital filter are measured, and the power difference is calculated. Based on the power difference, which indicates the ratio of unnecessary power, the digital processing unit controls the gain ratio of the RF amp and IF amp.
