Patent number: 4570039Abstract: In a keyswitch structure, a number of recesses are formed in a lower case, and a projection with a flat top surface is formed inside each of the recesses. The recesses communicate with each other by means of grooves formed on the lower case, and fixed contacts are provided on the projections. A pattern is formed on the under surface of a flexible substrate put on the lower case so that movable contacts, included in the pattern, face the fixed contacts. An elastic sheet with a number of buttons is put on the flexible substrate, and the flexible substrate and the elastic sheet are fixedly held between an upper case and the lower case. When any of the buttons of the elastic sheet is pushed, the elastic sheet and the flexible substrate are elastically deformed to bring the movable contacts into contact with the fixed contacts.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1984Date of Patent: February 11, 1986Assignee: Casio Computer Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Osawa, Isao Kurashima, Yoshio Kawai

Patent number: 4563932Abstract: A note ROM is addressed in response to a note code signal generated from a note code generator, and basic data is read out from the note ROM. The basic data is shifted by one higher bit and is thus doubled, and the shifted data is supplied to the A terminals of a full-adder. The basic data read out from the note ROM is supplied to the B terminals of the full-adder. The full-adder generates integer multiple data which has a value three times that of the basic data. This integer multiple data is decremented by one every time a clock is generated. When the integer multiple data becomes zero, a one-shot waveform data read clock signal is generated through an inverter.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1984Date of Patent: January 14, 1986Assignee: Casio Computer Co., Ltd.Inventor: Takuya Sunada

Patent number: 4538496Abstract: The differentiation data of a basic waveform is read out from a differentiated value waveform memory at a clock timing corresponding to a musical scale of an operated play key, and it is multiplied by an envelope value of a musical sound waveform to form a musical sound waveform differentiation value. In parallel therewith, the differentiation data is accumulated at the clock timing to form a compensative value. The compensative value is added with the musical sound waveform differentiation value at the point of time at which the envelope value is changed to cancel a DC component which would otherwise develop in a produced musical sound waveform. The musical sound waveform differentiation values thus compensated are accumulated, and are subjected to digital-to-analog conversion, so that the musical sound waveform free from the DC component is produced.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1983Date of Patent: September 3, 1985Assignee: Casio Computer Co., Ltd.Inventor: Koutarou Hanzawa

Patent number: 4537110Abstract: Under the presence of an internally generated mandolin clock (MDN) or an externally generated mandolin clock (MDN'), an envelope clock (ENV-CLK) obtained in accordance with a lower bit output having three-bit signals (including the LSB) is supplied through AND gates to an envelope counter. The counter is set in an up count state in response to an output from a flip-flop set in response to a key on pulse. When a carry signal is generated by the envelope counter, the counter is set in a down count state. In the latter case, the fourth-bit signal from the LSB of the output from the binary counter is gated through the AND gate. The envelope counter counts down the envelope clock (ENV-CLK) having a period twice that of the envelope clock (ENV-CLK) in the up count state.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1983Date of Patent: August 27, 1985Assignee: Casio Computer Co.Inventors: Keiichi Sakurai, Hideaki Ishida, Kohtaro Hanzawa
