Abstract: Voice sounds can be recorded by recording sections in an electronic device having a timepiece function. The voice sounds indicate the purposes corresponding to alarm times so that the recorded contents may be reproduced upon operation of a particular switch.
Abstract: In an electronic cash register mutual transmission system, a plurality of electronic cash registers each having a memory for storing total data are electrically connected to each other. A search is made to confirm whether the classified sales data storage area is present in the memory of an electronic cash register which corresponds to the classified data inputted from another of the electronic cash registers. If it is present, the summing is performed in the memory of the former electronic cash register. If it is absent, the classification data is transmitted to another electronic cash register. The former electronic cash register outputs a request signal for data transfer to other electronic cash registers. In response to this request signal, the other electronic cash registers transfer the total data for printing by the former electronic cash register.
Abstract: A calculator having an integration function has at least a key input section which in turn has registering keys for inputting data for setting a function to be integrated and an interval of integration, and executing keys for performing the definite integrating function. The function to be integrated is stored in a predetermined register of a RAM by key operation on the key input section. A dividing number for dividing the interval of integration input by the key operation is stored in another register. The interval of integration is divided by the dividing number stored in the latter register. The integrating function is performed sequentially based on the function to be integrated every interval of integration divided by a dividing means and the data input by the key operation for setting the interval of integration.

Abstract: An electronic timepiece, which comprises a circuit for encoding an externally supplied voice and a semiconductor memory for memorizing the encoded voice data. The voice data memorized in the semiconductor memory is read out when a preset time is reached, and the data thus read out is converted into a voice signal which is coupled to a sound producing device such as a loudspeaker for the reproduction of the voice.
Abstract: In an electronic device having an function of displaying time in an optical analog display with pointers, the information on the position of the pointers on the analog display can be stored as digital information in a memory of the electronic device. The electronic device is multi-functional since it is capable of inputting or displaying time information for time schedules of buses, planes, and trains at the positions of the analog display.
Abstract: A power source supply system uses an electric cell power source whose output voltage is 3 V, and drops the output voltage of 3 V to 1.5 V by a first voltage drop circuit and further drops the voltage of 1.5 V to 0.75 V to operate a logic circuit at the dropped voltage of 0.75 V.
Abstract: An electronic cash register has first and second total memories for storing data of accumulated sales amounts, and which is capable of two different types of settlement operations. It checks whether the first total memory has been reset before commencing the operation of resetting the second total memory, and resets the second total memory if the first total memory has been reset. A flag memory is provided for storing flag data such that when no flag data is stored in the flag memory upon actuation of the second settlement designation key, the total sales data in the first total memory is cumulatively stored in the corresponding memory areas of the second total memory and thereafter the data in the second total memory is supplied to the printing means.
Abstract: In a small-sized electronic apparatus having at least a time counting circuit and a printing section, when a note-paper sheet issuance key is operated a note-paper sheet, on which the present time data is printed and also which has a blank space of predetermined size, is issued.
Abstract: An electronic apparatus having a musical alarm function and a display, which produced a musical sound when an alarm time is reached while also concurrently performing score display of the musical notes of the produced musical sound on a printed five-line staff. The display produces a display of another function when the apparatus performs a function other than generation of the musical sounds.
Abstract: In an electronic musical instrument which is arranged to produce musical tones belonging to the selected one of many different types of musical instruments and having a number of player-operable selection keys respectively corresponding to the number of types of musical instrument sounds desired, the improvement wherein means is provided for generating a sample tone belonging to that type of musical instrument specified by one of the above-mentioned selection keys at a prescribed pitch and period simply by depressing only once a particular selection key, without taking the trouble of successively depressing individual performance keys, thereby facilitating the selection of a desired type of musical instrument by the player.
Abstract: In a miniaturized electronic device having two time informing sound generating functions, namely time signaling and alarm sound generating functions, the volume of the sound produced is automatically controlled such that it is different at the time of the time signaling sound generation and at the time of the alarm sound generation.
Abstract: A calculator in which when numerical information and function information are sequentially input using ten keys and function keys of a key input section for obtaining a calculation result according to a calculation formula, the input information is stored in a memory. The operation is then performed and, simultaneously, a character formula universally representing the calculation formula with the input numerals replaced with characters is prepared. This character formula is displayed by the display section so that the input condition may be easily confirmed and input errors may be prevented with certainty.
Abstract: An alarm device for electronic watches has a memory for storing data representing a specified date. When the user operates a switch on that day, the device sounds an alarm to tell the user the specified date has arrived.
Abstract: An envelope control device for the piezoelectric buzzer of the invention applies voltages changing with time to both surfaces of a sound generator for push-pull operation for generating an electric tone. The sound generator comprises an oscillating plate with a piezoelectric element attached thereto, and in response to a tone signal outputted from a tone signal generating circuit, it generates an electric tone. By the push-pull operations, an envelope is applied to the electric tone generated.
Abstract: An electronic timepiece has an optical display device for displaying time in digits and an alarm time indicator for setting an alarm time in terms of the position of a pointer. The position of the pointer is electronically detected and is applied as alarm time data to a time counting circuit. When current time is coincident with the alarm time set by the pointer, the alarm is given.

Abstract: The time range data for the scheduling range of a schedule table is input from a keyboard. The numerical data is renewed within the scheduling range. Every time the numerical data is renewed, the numeral is printed on a recording paper, one line after another. The operation for preparation of the schedule table is terminated when the numerical data exceeds the scheduling range.
