Patents Assigned to Casio Computers Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5805881
Abstract: In order to obtain an accounting form required by a person who has no expert knowledge, a first designation units designates record names of output records, and item contents (e.g., item codes) of the output records to be extracted, and a second designation units designates item names to be output as data items of the output records, and output object items to be extracted as data items in correspondence with the item names. Then, records which coincide with the designated item contents are read out from a predetermined file, and a processor processes data of the output object items on the basis of the readout records in units of record names of the output records. The processed output records are output in accordance with an arranged order of the record names designated by the first designation units, and data of the output object items of the output records are output in accordance with an arranging order of the item names designated by the second designation units.

  • Patent number: 5805981
Abstract: A pager comprises a receiver for receiving an image designating code together with a message, a display section, a memory for storing a plurality of images, and a CPU for, based on the image designating code received by the receiver, selecting an associated image and displaying the image together with the message on the display section. When a ringing signal transmitted from a base station is directed to this pager, the pager acquires a subsequent message and displays the associated image together with the message when the message contains an image designating code.

  • Patent number: 5802447
Abstract: A radio signal received by an antenna is supplied to a SAW bandpass filter, and a signal of a carrier frequency band is extracted and supplied to a first mixer. On the basis of a first receiving local signal supplied from a local signal generator, the first mixer generates a signal of an intermediate frequency band and supplies the signal to a second mixer. The second mixer demodulates a baseband signal from the intermediate-frequency signal by using a second local signal as an output from a TCXO circuit which generates a reference signal to the local signal generator. The baseband transmitting signal is supplied to a quadrature modulator where a transmitting local signal (carrier-band signal) supplied from the local signal generator is modulated by the baseband transmitting signal. The carrier-band modulated signal is supplied to the antenna via a high-power amplifier and transmitted from the antenna as a radio signal.

  • Patent number: 5796378
Abstract: A color liquid crystal display apparatus comprises an ECB (Electrically Controlled Birifringence) type liquid crystal display device, which has a plurality of dots arranged in a matrix form and displays a plurality of colors in accordance with applied voltages dot by dot, and a driving circuit. The driving circuit includes an image memory, a display controller, a conversion table, a D/A converter and drivers. The display controller reads image data stored in the image memory. This image data defines a display color of a pixel consisting of a plurality of dots and a gradation. The conversion table converts image data to voltage data defining voltages to be applied to a plurality of dots of the liquid crystal display device in order to display the color and gradation defined by the image data. The D/A converter converts this voltage data to an analog voltage and the drivers apply this analog voltage to each dot of the liquid crystal display device.

  • Patent number: 5790715
Abstract: Recorded data is read by an image sensor from a recording medium on which the data is two-dimensionally recorded in a mesh pattern, and the read data is stored in an image RAM. The stored data is subjected to data decoding and error correction to reproduce target data. A scanning reference pattern of a mesh pattern recorded on the recording medium serves as a guide when the stored recorded data read by the image sensor is reproduced by scanning in the image RAM. A reproduction apparatus has a capability of coping with a partial destruction of the scanning reference pattern. Error checking codes are added to the recording medium in addition to the target data. These items of data are recorded as an encoded image after being subjected to scrambling processing and randomization processing. The reproduction apparatus can easily cope with an error when the encoded image is reproduced.

  • Patent number: 5790091
Abstract: A color data displaying apparatus displays data concerning colors. Evaluation data concerning color data are previously stored in a memory. When color data is designated, evaluation data concerning the designated color data is read out from the memory, and is displayed on a display unit. Further image data are also stored in the memory, each of which image data represents an image given by a combination of at least two color data. When image data and one color data are designated, other color data is read out and displayed on the display unit, other color data which will give the image represented by the designated image data when combined with the designated color data.

  • Patent number: 5790765
Abstract: A received data analyzer 11 receives print data including rule data and paint data from a personal computer, and supplies the rule data to a rule width table generator 12 and the paint data to a compensation determining section 13. With regard to the rule data supplied from the received data analyzer 11, the rule width table generator 12 generates a rule width table indicating the coordinates of both ends of each rule and the width thereof and sends the table to the compensation determining section 13. When a paint area indicated by the paint data overlaps a rule indicated by the rule width table, the compensation determining section 13 compensates the coordinates of the left end, right end, upper end and lower end of the paint area included in the paint data. The compensation determining section 13 compensates the paint data in this manner in such a way as to avoid overlapping of the paint area and the rule, and then supplies the paint data to a printing section 14.

  • Patent number: 5787419
Abstract: A data search apparatus is capable of searching for a face image, character data corresponding to the face image, and/or a combination of the face data and character data, based only on part of the data which compose the face image. In such case, one or more part data, such as eyes, nose, etc. composing the face image is designated by a key input unit, and image data including part data which coincides with the designated part data, is read out from memory. The found face image is then displayed on a display unit, along with character data corresponding thereto.
