Abstract: This invention relates to a method for conducting film coating on the surface of spinning circular workpiece under action of gas pressure, and nozzle utilized in the same. Circular workpiece to be coated is held on a rotating mechanism, and a feedstock loading machine having a nozzle, which is capable of guiding redundant feedstock and overflowing in a specific direction, is set to have a 100 ?m gap with the circular workpiece. When the rotating mechanism is rotated, the polymer solution is precoated on the surface of the circular workpiece, and when gas valve is opened, the polymer solution is squeezed to a predetermined thickness by an annular high pressure gas-stream formed on the periphery of a cylinder, produced from the high pressure gas released.

Abstract: A magnetization apparatus includes a power supply unit, an energy storage element and a voltage clamp unit. The power supply unit generates at least one exciting signal to excite at least a coil of a magnetic field generating apparatus. The voltage clamp unit has a clamping voltage. The voltage level of the clamp voltage is higher than the voltage level of the exciting signal, and lower than the rated voltage of the energy storage element. When the exciting signal turns to a low voltage level, the voltage clamp unit controls the voltage level of the energy storage element to be less than or equal to the voltage level of the clamp voltage. This configuration with the voltage clamp unit can extend the lifetime of the energy storage element and reduce the energy loss to enhance the efficiency.
Abstract: Reducing liver fibrosis in a subject having or being suspected of having a liver disease using an IL-20 antagonist, which can be an antibody that blocks a signaling pathway mediated by IL-20. Such antibodies include anti-IL-20 antibodies and anti-IL-20R antibodies that specifically block the IL-20 signaling pathway.

Abstract: A thermal probe includes a support element, a conductive pattern and a tip. The conductive pattern is disposed at the support element and has plural bending portions. The tip has a base and a pinpoint. The base has a first surface and a second surface which is opposite to the first surface. The pinpoint is disposed at the first surface. The second surface is connected with the conductive pattern. The bending portions are contacted with the first surface. Abstract: A system and a method for estimating a torque and a rotational speed of a motor are disclosed. The system includes a sound receiving device, a feature extraction device, and an artificial neural network module. In the method, at first, a plurality of training data are provided, wherein the training data includes a plurality of history sound feature values of the motor and history torque values or history rotation values corresponding thereto. Thereafter, an artificial neural network stored in the artificial neural network module is trained by the history data to obtain a motor model of the motor. Then, a motor sound signal made by the motor in a working state is received. Thereafter, sound feature values of the motor sound signal are extracted. Thereafter, the rotational speed value and the torque value are computed by the motor model in accordance with the at least one sound feature value.

Abstract: A magnetic field generating module includes a housing, a plurality of interpoles, a plurality of short poles and a plurality of windings. The housing has an annular section and an inner side. The interpoles disposed on the inner side in the housing are arranged around an inner periphery of the annular section with the same intervals. The short poles are disposed on the inner side in the housing and distributed between the interpoles evenly. A first interval is formed between the adjacent short poles, and a second interval equal to the first interval is formed between each of the interpoles and the adjacent short pole. The windings are respectively disposed corresponding to the interpoles and located between the interpoles and the short poles. The magnetic field generating module of the invention has more concentrated magnetic lines so as to prompt the magnetic flux density and the magnetic force.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a CO2 laser-transparent material having a mark on the surface thereof and the method for making the same. The method includes the following steps: providing a first substrate, which has a top surface and a bottom surface; providing a second substrate which has a top surface; putting the bottom surface of the first substrate on the top surface of the second substrate; irradiating a CO2 laser beam to the top surface of the second substrate by passing through the top surface and the bottom surface of the first substrate; and forming a mark on the bottom surface of the first substrate. The material of the mark is oxide of the second substrate or the same as the material of the second substrate. Whereby the cheap CO2 laser is utilized to form the mark on the first substrate, and the mark can be erased easily by a proper chemical for recycling the first substrate.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a mutant blue fluorescent protein (BFP), mutated by an error-prone PCR method or a DNA shuffling method with using a BFPvv D7 of SEQ ID NO:2 as parents, obtained from a wild type blue fluorescent protein BfgV of SEQ ID NO:1, obtained from Vibrio vulnificus, wherein a set of mutation positions of the mutant BFP corresponding to SEQ ID NO:2 comprises position 176 and position 178. In a preferred embodiment, the set of mutation positions of the mutant BFP corresponding to SEQ ID NO:2 comprises a S176R mutation or a V178I mutation. Moreover, methods of using the blue fluorescent proteins from Vibrio vulnificus for fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and a blue fluorescent fish are also provided.
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a polymer film with the photonic crystal structure includes a mixing step for at least mixing an achiral liquid crystal (LC), a chiral dopant, a monomer and a photo initiator together to form an LC-monomer mixture, at least one exposure step for exposing the LC-monomer mixture through a mask, at least one diffusion step for diffusing the monomer from the area around one of the exposure areas to the exposure area, and a LC removing step for removing the achiral LC to form the polymer film. By implementing the diffusion step after the exposure step, the polymerization rate of the monomers is enhanced so as to increase the proportion of the polymer in the polymer film and raise the imprint rate of chirality. Therefore, the polymer film can reveal stronger photonic crystal structure and property of Bragg reflection when it is not filled with any fluid.
Abstract: A nitride semiconductor light emitting device including an n-type nitride semiconductor layer, a p-type nitride semiconductor layer, a light emitting semiconductor layer, a first metal pad, a second metal pad, and a first magnetic material layer is provided. The light emitting semiconductor layer is disposed between the n-type nitride semiconductor layer and the p-type nitride semiconductor layer. The first metal pad is electrically connected to the n-type nitride semiconductor layer. The second metal pad is electrically connected to the p-type nitride semiconductor layer. The first magnetic material layer is disposed between the first metal pad and the n-type nitride semiconductor layer. A distribution area of the first magnetic material layer parallel to a (0001) plane of the n-type nitride semiconductor layer is greater than or equal to an area of the first metal pad parallel to the (0001) plane.
