    Abstract: The present invention relates to stable highly concentrated formulations of specific fluorescein derivatives, to the preparation of said formulations and the use thereof, especially for the photodynamic therapy of secondary cataract.The invention principally relates to an aqueous solution comprising a fluorescein diester, preferably a fluorescein di-lower alkyl ester, most preferably fluorescein diacetate, and a partially etherified .beta.-cyclodextrin the ether substituents of which are hydroxyethyl, hydroxypropyl or dihydroxypropyl groups, some of which ether substituents may be methyl or ethyl groups, said .beta.-cyclodextrin ether having a water-solubility of more than 1.8 g in 100 ml of water, preferably hydroxy-.beta.-cyclodextrin.

    Abstract: When a tetraalkyl orthotitanate transesterification catalyst is used in the preparation of N-oxyl hindered amine esters, the N-oxyl compound is obtained in excellent yield and purity when moderate temperatures (90.degree.-130.degree. C.) and an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent are used. The N-oxyl compounds are light stabilizers and also inhibitors for preventing the premature polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers.

    Abstract: A continuous drier for board-shaped piece material, especially for coated in-layers or printed circuit boards, is described which comprises a drying chamber, in which the board-shaped piece material to be dried is exposed to a guided air stream while being transported in a transport plane along a transport path from an entrance to an exit of the drying chamber by transport means acting preferably at its longitudinal edges. The drying chamber is equipped with an inlet for incoming air and with an outlet for outgoing air. Arranged above and below the transport path of the board-shaped piece material are infrared radiators the radiation of which acts directly on the coated piece material and which, in addition, form a heat source for the guided air stream. The air stream in the drying chamber is guided counter to the transport direction of the board-shaped piece material and substantially parallel to the transport plane.
