Abstract: New associative thickening agents belonging to the category of HASEs (Hydrophobically modified Alkali-Soluble Emulsions). These products contain an original associative monomer with a base of alkylcyclohexanol akoxylates. Their thickening power is greater than the HASE associative thickening agents of the prior art containing grafted alkyl phenols. An efficient substitute product is therefore available, which is free of alkyls phenols, matching current market demand.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new mineral matter particle hydrophobization agent and to its various uses for the surface treatment of mineral matter particles.

Abstract: New associative thickeners of the HEUR type (Hydrophobically modified Ethylene oxide URethane) whose hydrophobic monomer is based on alkyl cyclohexylols. These are new polyurethanes that allow a broad thickening of a medium shear gradient aqueous formulation while limiting the increase in the low shear gradient viscosity. The invention also concerns the compositions containing them and their uses in different formulations such as aqueous paints.
Abstract: Emulsions containing acrylic associative thickening agents which, when polymerized in the presence of particular polyglycerols, have a thickening power which is remarkably stable over time.
Abstract: The present invention relates to new acrylic associative thickening agents which, when polymerized in the presence of particular polyglycerols, ultimately result in an increase of the open time of the paint or of the thick coating in which they are incorporated. By so doing, painters and applicators will have more time to work the paint layers gradually or to correct imperfections such as paint droplets, traces of brushes and filling-knives.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an aqueous suspension of calcium carbonate by grinding in an aqueous medium in the presence of an acrylic grinding aid agent and of an alkali carbonate salt. These salts enable the quantity of grinding aid agent used to be reduced, for an equivalent level of performance in terms of rheology and granulometry of the suspensions. The method includes a first step of manufacture of the alkali carbonate salt within the aqueous solution of acrylic polymer itself, through the addition of alkali hydroxide and bubbling of carbon dioxide.

Abstract: Utilisation of (meth)acrylic comb copolymers with side chains of the hydroxy and alkoxy polyalkylene glycol type in which are present both ethylene oxide and propylene oxide links. These copolymers give a styling effect and an elimination of rinsing. The invention also relates to a cosmetic formulation containing such structures as well as a hair treatment process based on this formulation.
Abstract: A HASE-type rheology modifier containing an associative monomer which is functionalised by a hydrophobic group of an oxo alcohol base is provided. A method to prepare the HASE rheology modifier and its use in a method to thicken and create a Newtonian rheological profile in an aqueous formulation such as a water based paint is also provided.
Abstract: The invention relates to coating slip including latex comprising styrene and with a particle size centered around 100 nm, the use of latex as an agent for reducing the low shear gradient viscosity and increasing the low shear gradient viscosity, and methods thereof.
Abstract: The present invention concerns formulations containing one or more comb structure amphiphilic copolymers that are both rich in hydrophobic monomers and in polyalkylene glycol monomers. Cosmetic formulations. Methods of thickening.
Abstract: The invention consists in the use, as a dry grinding aid agent of a mineral matter chosen from among the dolomites, talc, titanium dioxide, alumina, kaolin and calcium carbonate, the function of which is to reduce the specific grinding energy and to increase the grinding capacity, of formulations containing glycerol.

Abstract: The invention pertains to the use of a homopolymer of acrylic acid or a copolymer of acrylic acid with a water-soluble monomer, as a dispersing agent or grinding aid agent in a method for manufacturing an aqueous suspension of mineral materials through dispersion and/or grinding, characterized in that the carboxylic groups of said agent are fully or partially neutralized by the lithium ion and in that it exhibits a viscosity index of between 0.01 and 0.08.
Abstract: Cosmetic compositions for make-up containing acrylic comb copolymers having the advantage of increasing the intensity of the color produced by these compositions when they are applied to the skin or to keratin derivatives such as the hair or the eyelashes. Not only are the aesthetic properties conferred by these compositions thus improved, but their useful life is also increased, since they allow access to the desired shade (and good intensity) right from the first application.
