The oral care refill head is alterable between a first state in which it is separated from the handle and a second state in which it is coupled to the handle. The oral care refill head has a proximal edge surface that defines an opening into a sleeve cavity. The proximal edge surface may be inclined in one direction only as it extends from an inner edge surface to an outer edge surface. The handle may have a gripping portion and a stem, with a distal end of the gripping portion forming an annular shoulder surface that surrounds the stem. The annular shoulder surface may be inclined in one direction only as it extends from an inner shoulder edge adjacent to the stem to an outer shoulder edge adjacent to an outer surface of the handle.

Abstract: An oral care implement including an elongated body having a head portion supporting plurality of tooth cleaning elements and a handle portion defining an outer surface. The handle portion may include a shell portion formed from a transparent material and a core portion that is surrounded by the shell portion. The core portion may be formed from a colored material that is visible through the shell portion. The tooth cleaning elements may include bristle tufts arranged in specific columns and rows. A grip component may be coupled to an outer surface of the handle portion.

Abstract: An oral care implement having a head with a bristle bearing surface. The oral care implement may include a central bristle tuft extending from a central portion of the bristle bearing surface, the central bristle tuft terminating in a domed distal surface. Furthermore, the oral care implement may include a plurality of perimetric bristle tufts extending from the bristle bearing surface and arranged to circumferentially surround the central bristle tuft. Each of the perimetric bristle tufts may have an inclined distal surface that slopes downward towards the central bristle tuft. The bristle bearing surface of the head may have a total surface area (TSA), and the toothbrush may include a tooth cleaning element field having X number of tooth cleaning elements that collectively occupy a total cleaning element area (TCEA) such that 1 X × T ? An electrolysis circuit may be located in the cavity of the housing. The electrolysis circuit may include a power source, a first electrode and a second electrode electrically coupled to the power source, and a control circuit electrically coupled to the power source and the first and second electrodes. Upon the control circuit being activated while the precursor liquid operably couples the first and second electrodes together, the electrolysis circuit may be configured to generate a hypochlorite solution from the precursor solution.

First and second floor air bladders may be located along the second and third floor portions. First and second teeth cleaning pads may be coupled to the first and second floor air bladders, respectively. The first floor portion may not have any air bladders and teeth cleaning pads therealong. In accordance with an aspect, provided is a method having from about 1 to about 10 wt. % of a fluoride ion source; optionally, from about 2 to about 20 wt. % of hydroxyapatite; from about 3 to about 30 wt. % of a film-forming agent; and from about 7 to about 35 wt. % of an adhesive, wherein the oral care composition is adapted to form a film on teeth, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the oral care composition.

Abstract: A system for dispensing a personal care fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity and a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body. There may be a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid, or alternatively the personal care fluid may be dispensed by squeezing the dispenser and refill cartridge. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The personal care fluid system is designed so that a user can readily and easily change out/replace the refill cartridge for use with a common dispenser, dispenser lid, and pump sub-system.

A learning model is trained using values of predefined characteristics of the features of the first composition, and the value of the property of the first composition. The learning model is then provided identities of second features of a second composition. Using the learning model, a value of a property of the second composition is determined and displayed.

Abstract: An oral care apparatus that includes an oral care implement and a tracking module detachably coupled to the oral care implement. The oral care implement includes a body having an inner surface that defines an internal cavity. The tracking module may be coupled to the oral care implement by inserting a portion of the tracking module into the internal cavity of the body. The tracking module includes a coupling portion and an electronics portion that are coupled together so as to be fixed together in the axial direction but freely rotatable relative to one another. The tracking module may only be able to be inserted into the internal cavity of the body in a single orientation. Furthermore, when in the internal cavity, the electronics portion of the tracking module may be non-rotatable relative to the body while the coupling portion of the tracking module remains rotatable relative to the body.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the present disclosure is directed to a method for providing a personal toothbrushing challenge via an application of an electronic device. A user interface displays to a user of an electronic device, via a user interface, challenge parameters for creating a personal toothbrushing challenge, the challenge parameters including a type of challenge and a challenge period. The user interface receives from the user a parameter selection for each of the challenge parameters, each combination of parameter selections having a corresponding brushing expectation and point value. The electronic device receives brushing data from a user toothbrush indicative of user brushing activity, and determines, based on the brushing data, whether the user satisfied the brushing expectation corresponding with the combination of parameter selections. Upon determining that the user satisfied the brushing expectation, the user interface displays that the corresponding point value has been awarded to the user.
