Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process for electrochemically whitening a tooth, the process comprising: a) contacting the tooth with a whitening gel that is located in a dental device, the dental device comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode; b) flowing a current between the positive electrode and the negative electrode through the whitening gel to whiten the tooth; wherein the whitening gel comprises: water; a bleaching agent; a thickener composition comprising a non-ionic compound; a surfactant; and an electrolyte source comprising a first conductive salt.

Abstract: An oral irrigator tip (120) for an oral irrigator (100). The oral irrigator tip (120) may be configured for coupling to an oral irrigator (100) for purposes of irrigating a users teeth, gums, and interproximal regions. The oral irrigator tip (120) contains a dispensing member (150) in its interior, and the dispensing member (150) leaches an oral care agent during use as a fluid such as water flows past the dispensing member (150) within the interior of the oral irrigator tip (120). The oral irrigator tip (120) may be a monolithic structure. The dispensing member (150) may be non-removable from the interior of the oral irrigator tip (120), such that upon depletion of the oral care agent from the dispensing member (150) the entire oral irrigator tip (120) is replaced. The dispensing member (150) may be in the shape of a torus such that the dispensing member (150) does not impede the flow of the fluid through the oral irrigator tip (120).

Abstract: An oral care system with coaching features. Abstract: A teeth whitening system that emits electromagnetic radiation onto surfaces of a user's teeth and may also dispense a tooth whitening material for contact with the user's teeth. In one aspect, the teeth whitening system includes a mouthpiece comprising a wall and a bite platform extending from the wall that collectively define a first channel for receiving a user's teeth and an electromagnetic radiation source coupled to the mouthpiece and configured to emit electromagnetic radiation onto surfaces of the user's teeth that are positioned in the first channel. Abstract: An oral care refill head and an oral care kit comprising the same. The oral care refill head may include a sleeve portion, a head portion, and an elastomeric prophy cup.
