Abstract: A grooved roller having a multiplicity of guide grooves running parallel to one another and in encircling fashion over the circumference of said grooved roller and serve for guiding strength members of flattened cross section before they enter a roller calender, which strength members have, in cross section, a first diameter and, perpendicular thereto, a second diameter, the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter, and the two diameters are each determined at the points with the greatest widths. The guide grooves each have a U-shaped cross section with a groove base extending parallel to the roller axis and with two groove walls extending perpendicularly to the roller axis. The groove base has a width which at least corresponds to, and is up to 5% greater than, the first diameter of the strength member, and the groove walls have a height which is 50% to 90% of the second diameter of the strength member.

Abstract: A method for producing a vulcanizing mold for vehicle tires, in which the vulcanizing mold has radially on the inside cast mold surfaces of a mold material with mold projections for forming cuts in the tread profile of the vehicle tire to be manufactured. The mold projections are formed by in each case first providing a core of a metal of higher strength than the mold material and then coating the core at least partially with the mold material during the casting of the mold surfaces. A corresponding vulcanizing mold is also specified.
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire, in particular a utility vehicle tire, having a tread with a circumferential groove, and having a carcass with a carcass ply which has, in a cross section of the tire, a carcass ply line running through the central points of the strength members of the carcass ply, wherein said cross section is the cross section in the circumferential direction U that the tire would have in the new state if it were mounted on a standard wheel rim conforming to E.T.R.T.O. without filling pressure.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a rubber component (1), in the case of which at least one electronic assembly (2) is embedded between a lower and an upper ply (10, 11) of a rubber material, comprising the steps: a) providing a length portion of the lower ply (10) of the rubber material, which is equipped, on the top side (100), with at least one electronic assembly (2); b) stationarily positioning the length portion of the lower ply (10); c) unrolling a length portion of the upper ply (11) of the rubber material on the top side (100) of the stationary length portion of the lower ply (10) in an unrolling direction (A), and fixedly adhesively connecting the length portions of the plies (10, 11) of the rubber material so as to embed the at least one electronic assembly (2); d) conveying out the length portion of the rubber component (1). A corresponding device for producing the rubber components (1) is also specified.
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire (1) having sidewalls (2) and a tread (3) and having at least one marking surface (4) on at least one of the sidewalls (2) and/or on the tread (3), wherein the marking surface (4) has two parallel sets (5, 5?) of elongate elevations (6, 6?), wherein the two parallel sets (5, 5?) intersect and form a parallelogram grid. The problem addressed is therefore that of influencing the contrast effect in even more targeted fashion, and further increasing the contrast effect. It is also the intention to realize easy producibility of the tire. This is achieved in that the parallelograms of the parallelogram grid have an interior angle (7) of 35° to 90°, and in that at least one parallelogram, preferably at least half of the parallelograms, particularly preferably all of the parallelograms, has or have an additional elevation (8) within its or their areal extent.
Abstract: A two-wheeler pneumatic tire, in which damage protection and puncture protection are improved while providing good rolling resistance and good tightness; the two-wheeler pneumatic tire in the bead regions has a protective layer which is disposed axially outside the carcass and which has strength members embedded in rubber material; wherein the tire carcass is formed from a first carcass ply and a second carcass ply disposed radially within in a vertex, and wherein the second carcass ply ends with a second carcass ply turn-up in a second carcass ply end in the bead region; the purpose of damage protection and puncture protection is achieved in that the first carcass ply is guided from the respective bead region in a first carcass ply turn-up over the respective tire sidewall to below the tread and at the latter ends in each case in a first carcass ply end; and that in each of the two axial halves the protective layer is guided from the bead region over the respective tire sidewall to below the tread.

Abstract: Pneumatic vehicle tire having sidewalls and having at least one hatching area (1) or a hatched area element on at least one sidewall, wherein the hatching area (1) or the area element has a multiplicity of hatching ribs (2, 2?, 2?) running next to one another and having two lateral flanks (3a, 3?a, 3?a, 3b, 3?b, 3?b). The one lateral flank (3a, 3?a, 3?a) of the hatching ribs (2, 2?, 2?) has a surface finish which differs from that on the other lateral flank (3b, 3?b, 3?b) of the hatching ribs (2, 2?, 2?).
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tyre of radial type of construction, having a tread (1), having a carcass inlay (3), having electrically nonconductive sidewalls (7) and having at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in a bead region, which component or element, in the case of a tyre mounted on a wheel rim, comes into contact with said wheel rim, wherein either the tread (1) is electrically conductive or, in the tread region, at least one electrically conductive component (10) is provided which is overlapped on the outside by the sidewalls (7) and which is connected in electrically conductive fashion to the tread outer surface, and wherein filaments provided with an electrically conductive coating are incorporated at least in a sidewall region, the coating of which filaments forms electrically conductive passages between the tread (1) or the component (10) and the at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in the bead region.
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire in radial design that is a summer tire or all-season tire, with a profiled tread comprising rows of profile blocks and/or profile ribs running around the tire in circumferential direction, wherein the total number of sipes within each row of profile blocks and/or profile ribs is not more than 150, wherein the tread is in the form of a single layer or multiple layers with a radially outermost tread layer that extends at least over the width of the ground contact area, and wherein the profile depth of the tread is up to 6.5 mm. The tread or its radially outermost tread layer consists of a rubber material with a Shore A hardness at room temperature in accordance with DIN ISO 7619-1 of 40 ShA to 55 ShA.

Abstract: A utility vehicle tire having a tread with at least two circumferential channels (3), which are formed to a profile depth (T) and which separate central profile positives (1) and shoulder-side profile positives (2) from one another, the circumferential channels (3) having channel flanks (5a, 5b) toward the central profile positives (1) and the shoulder-side profile positives (2) having shoulder flanks (6) running toward the side wall. The channels have depressions delimited by a curved surface.
Abstract: A two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire having a tread, a tire carcass, tire sidewalls, and two bead regions with a bead protective strip. The tire carcass is formed from a first carcass inlay and a second carcass inlay. The second carcass inlay is arranged radially inwardly of the first carcass inlay, and extends from a crown region (17) of the two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire and terminates at a second carcass inlay end under the bead protective strip. The two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire provides improved puncture protection whilst maintaining good rolling resistance. This is achieved in that the first carcass inlay is guided with a first carcass inlay turn-up over the particular tire sidewall as far as under the tread to a first carcass inlay end, and terminates there at the first carcass inlay end.
