  • Patent number: 9872998
Abstract: A defibrillator system optimizes the timing and manner of applying a defibrillator charge to a patient based upon data provided to the defibrillator from a utility module or one or more external devices. A parameter module on the utility module provides the defibrillator with patient parameter information. Devices external to the utility module may provide the utility module with coaching data that the utility module may pass through to the defibrillator as a proxy to the external devices. The utility module may also provide external devices with patient data that the utility module may pass through to the external devices as a proxy to the defibrillator on a scheduled or other basis. The utility module may additionally provide a reserve of power to enable defibrillators to be used where power is unavailable and to enable defibrillators to deliver multiple charges more readily anywhere, anytime.

  • Patent number: 9845892
Abstract: A multiple action forced fluid evacuation system includes a reservoir for receiving a working fluid therein, and a shutoff valve provided in the reservoir. An outer rigid conduit and an inner flexible conduit are connected between the shutoff valve and a receiver. A processing module is provided for at least controlling pressurized gas between the outer conduit and the inner conduit, and is operatively connected to the outer conduit and the inner conduit. A nozzle has one end in fluid communication with a source of the working fluid, and an opposite end removably coupled to the receiver. The nozzle normally enables flow of the working fluid through the inner conduit to the reservoir when the nozzle is connected to the receiver until the working fluid in the reservoir activates the shutoff valve causing the nozzle to cease flow of the working fluid leaving a portion of the working fluid trapped in the receiver and the inner conduit.

  • Patent number: 9821997
Abstract: The present invention is related to a pouring device for a container for the dosing of liquid, said pouring device comprising: a) a housing b) a passage for the liquid within the housing; c) an electrical operated opening/closing mechanism for opening or closing the passage in order to dosing of a predetermined or registerable amount of liquid, characterized in that the passage comprising a flexible tube, and the opening/closing mechanism is to block the tube by squeezing the tube in order to close the passage. The tube inside the spout is the only path for the liquid to go through from the bottle, meanwhile the rest components are protected from liquid. This guaranties a quick and controlled flow of the liquid and avoids any air bubbles to influence the pour precision.

  • Patent number: 9819544
Abstract: A master device, daisy-chained devices, and a method for configuring the daisy-chained devices are provided. The master device generates a signal having a pre-determined base frequency, and outputs the signal generated to a first device in the daisy chain communication configuration. Each daisy-chained device receives an input signal, having an input frequency, from a previous daisy-chained device. Each daisy-chained device generates an output signal having an output frequency different to and based on the input frequency of the received signal, and outputs the output signal to a following daisy-chained device. Each daisy-chained device further determines an address of a communication interface, for exchanging data with the master device, based on the input frequency of the received signal. For example, the output frequency of the output signal is half the input frequency of the received signal.
