Abstract: The present invention provides a method an a device for mapping a virtual user input interface to a physical user input interface. The method is provided for mapping a virtual user input interface to a physical user input interface on a mobile terminal device. The mobile terminal device comprises a first physical user input interface, a display and a processing unit being connected to said display and said physical user interface, wherein an application is configured for use with a second user interface. The method of the invention comprises detecting an event indicative of an application to be executed that is configured for use with said second user interface and displaying a virtual user input interface representing said second user input interface on said display. If a physical user input is received on said first physical user input interface, it is mapping to said displayed virtual user input interface, and displayed as an indication of a virtual input on said displayed virtual user input interface.

The electronic device includes one or more memory elements and a sending module. Each of the memory elements is adapted to store folders therein, and the sending module is adapted to send a capability object and a folder-listing object to a receiving module. The capability object includes memory information corresponding to the one or more memory elements, and the folder-listing object includes folder information corresponding to a folder contained in one of the memory elements. The folder information includes an attribute identifying the one memory element containing the folder.

A JAVA™ Runtime Dynamic Invocation API is used for low-level bridging between JAVA™ and C/C++, enabling the dynamic invocation of native C/C++ functions and C++ class/object methods from the JAVA™ side without adding any additional ad hoc implemented native code to the overall JAVA™ component implementation. Thereby, the need to write new native code when implementing a JAVA™ component that needs to invoke some native functionality is reduced.

The method includes multiplexing a first digital video sequence with a second digital video sequence, pictures of the second digital video sequence are included in advance in a video stream and are associated with timing information such that a receiver will not decode and reproduce the pictures of the second digital video sequence. The method includes composing the at least two digital video sequences into the video stream in correspondence with a result of the multiplexing and subsequently including a sequence of dummy timing pictures into the video stream. The first channel coding and/or interleaving scheme is communicated to the base station and the terminal for them to apply said first channel coding and/or interleaving scheme in the first communication connection.

Abstract: A system and method for enabling the integration of mobile telephone functions and the UPnP-enabled digital home. In an UPnP control point device, such as a UPnP mobile telephone, implementing the present invention, events such as the receipt of an incoming telephone call or message in the UPnP control point device application program interface can trigger the requesting of different UPnP actions in UPnP devices that relate to the event. In the UPnP environment, the UPnP control point device serves as a control point and transmits instructions to other devices. For example, the receipt of a phone call could cause the volume on a stereo or television to be lowered or muted, it could cause both live and taped television programs to pause, or it could perform other functions. A UPnP control point device of the present invention can also transmit instructions based upon requests received from remote locations.
