Abstract: There is disclosed a method and device of statistical interleaving of at least two digital video sequences each comprising a plurality of coded pictures to be reproduced by a decoder, wherein the two digital video sequences form a single video stream and are destined for being successively reproduced in time, comprising statistical multiplexing a first digital video sequence with a second digital video sequence, wherein the pictures of the second digital video sequence are associated with timing information, which prevents a decoder from reproducing the pictures; transmitting the digital video sequences in an interleaved manner in accordance with a result of the statistical multiplexing to the decoder; and once the second digital video sequence is to be reproduced by decoder receiving the stream: transmitting dummy pictures, which are coded to refer to one or more pictures of the second video sequence transmitted in advance to the decoder.

Abstract: The specification and drawings present a new method, apparatus and software product for pictorial identification of a communication event using speech or text recognition in an electronic device. The communication can be (but is not limited to) a telephone call, an electronic mail message, MMS, SMS, an instant message, etc. Words from the communication event are identified using the speech or text recognition by the electronic device and at least one picture out of a library of reference pictures is identified by comparing the identified words with the key picture words using a predetermined criterion. Color background of the identified standard picture can be also identified using the identified words and a further predetermined criterion. The identified picture can be displayed during the communications event or can be stored so the user can identify the topic of the communication event later on.
Abstract: The present invention is related to methods, apparatuses, systems and computer software for determining an amount of physical resources for downlink transmission, and allocating uplink physical resources for transmission of data-non-associated control signaling based at least on the amount of physical resources for downlink transmission. The amount of physical resources for downlink transmission comprises an amount of downlink control signaling. The present invention further relates to a framework for mapping the dedicated uplink control channels directly to single physical resource blocks. The framework is able to efficiently shift physical resources to and from the uplink control channel for ACK/NACK reports, in a data-non-associated control signaling scheme and on a per subframe basis. The present invention is also concerned with scheduler, for example an eNodeB scheduler, which uses its scheduling history and knowledge of user equipment capabilities to increase utilization of uplink resources.
Abstract: A rectangular workout bench with removable legs for use directly on the floor or raised on legs 12, 13, 108 has an inflatable flexible air filled plastic material cushion 2 work out area allowing a person to lay on for physical therapy, strength training and balance. The rectangular shape allows spine and neck support while the instability of the air filled cushion 2 allows muscles to activate. Beginners use the workout cushion 2 directly on the floor and advanced workouts are on the elevated bench with accessible footrests.

Abstract: Disclosed is a medical device including a therapeutic component to provide one or more therapeutic functionalities during whilst in therapeutic mode, and may further enter into a device sleep mode (DSM), a transceiver configured to provide the medical device with wireless connectivity and which may further transition into a transceiver sleep mode (TSM) substantially concurrent with transition into DSM, the transceiver may intermittently transition between TSM and a scan mode, during which scan mode the transceiver may listen for a wireless packet addressed to the transceiver, and a localization module which may emit a discovery signal upon receipt of the wireless packet addressed to the transceiver.
Abstract: A method, apparatus, computer program product, and user interface provide for determining a minimum and optimum font size for information displayed on a display based on a predetermined set of criteria, and automatically adjusting the displayed information on the display using a module such that a size of a smallest font of the information is not smaller than the minimum font size and that a size of a main font of the information is not smaller than the optimum font size.
Abstract: Echogenic medical devices, methods of fabrication and methods of use are disclosed. The device can be adapted to be inserted into a patient. The echogenic construction can be incorporated into the device at the time of fabrication providing acoustic impedance different from that of the surrounding biological tissue or fluid. The medical device is designed for use with an ultrasound imaging system to provide real-time location of the insertion and guidance at the time the device is implanted in a patient, such as in brachytherapy. Following placement of the device the position can be evaluated over time to insure the device remains in proper alignment and functional. Furthermore, the device is designed to incorporate a spacer element at one or both ends to provide separation between radioactive elements.
