Abstract: There is provided a fuel cell power generation system in which power loss in a power line electrically connecting a stack and a power conversion circuit, thereby attaining high power generation efficiency. A reformer and the stack are disposed in a main body package. Stack output terminals 31 are provided in both ends in a stacking direction of the stack. A power conversion circuit is disposed in the main body package and arranged in the proximity to the stack. Power conversion circuit input terminals are provided on the power conversion circuit and arrayed in a direction parallel to the stacking direction of the stack. Stack output lines electrically connect the stack output terminals and the power conversion circuit input terminals.

Abstract: A refrigerant cycle device for a vehicle includes a compressor which compresses and discharges refrigerant, a discharge capacity control portion which controls a discharge capacity of the compressor. The refrigerant cycle device further includes a noise determination portion which determines whether an audible noise other than a refrigerant passing noise is in a low noise state, and/or a load determination portion which determines whether an air-conditioning thermal load is in a high load state. The discharge capacity control portion performs a gradual activation control in which the discharge capacity of the compressor is set to be lower than that determined in a normal control, when the noise determination portion determines that the audible noise is in the low noise state, and/or when the load determination portion determines that the air-conditioning thermal load is in the high load state, at an activation time of the compressor.

Abstract: A cloud migration system is described herein that provides capacity management and disaster recovery by detecting peak load conditions and automatically moving computing to another computing resource (and back) and by providing computing across two or more clouds and moving completely to one in the case of a disaster at one site. The system monitors loads within a datacenter and detects a threshold that indicates that the current load is nearing the datacenter's capacity. Upon detecting that the threshold will be reached, the system facilitates an orderly move of at least some datacenter load to another datacenter or cloud-based resources. The system can also be used as a disaster recovery architecture at a datacenter/network level to manage fast workload transition in case of disaster. Thus, the system allows enterprises to build smaller and more efficient datacenters that leverage other resources for rare extra loads.

Abstract: Operating a data processing system comprises defining a plurality of profiles, each profile comprising a list of one or more applications; receiving a defined user input requesting a switch from a first profile to a second profile; hibernating the (or each) application listed in the first profile; and recalling from hibernation the (or each) application listed in the second profile. Abstract: Various embodiments enable audio data, such as music data, to be captured, by a device, from a background environment and processed to formulate a query that can then be transmitted to a content recognition service. In one or more embodiments, multiple queries are transmitted to the content recognition service. In at least some embodiments, subsequent queries can progressively incorporate previous queries plus additional data that is captured. In one or more embodiments, responsive to receiving the query, the content recognition service can employ a multi-stage matching technique to identify content items responding to the query. This matching technique can be employed as queries are progressively received.
