Abstract: A painting support comprised of a three-dimensional transparent plastic body that is a molded replica of an object. The interior surface of the mold contains a variety of areas with different surface textures that represent different colors. The different textures are designed to accept different colors of paints. A key code directs a person to paint the areas in specified steps and in certain colors.
Abstract: A powered grocery cart mover moves a line of grocery carts. The grocery cart mover includes a drive mechanism and a mechanism for engaging the line of grocery carts. The engaging mechanism is configured and arranged so that upon activation of the drive mechanism, the engaging mechanism lifts an end of the line of carts off the ground and moves the carts horizontally in a desired direction. The drive mechanism is pivotally connected to the cart engaging mechanism to facilitate steering of the cart engaging mechanism and the line of carts. The grocery cart mover can further include a harnessing mechanism releasably attachable to the cart engager and the line of carts for securing the line of carts relative to the cart engager.
Abstract: A gravity-actuated switch having a switch module with a switch housing and a lid. An electrically conductive pendulum is pivotally secured to the lid via a pivot pin so that the pendulum hangs within the housing and pivots with respect to the housing under the influence of gravity. A first electrical contact connectable to a power source abuts the pivot pin, which is electrically conductive. A second electrical contact is provided within the housing in a predetermined position such that the pendulum makes contact with it when the switch module is tilted by a predetermined amount. When the pendulum makes contact with the second electrical contact, a short circuit is provided across the pair of contacts, thus closing the switch. The switch is incorporated in a lamp assembly provided on the underside of the hood or trunk lid of an automobile to selectively provide power to a lamp so that the lamp is illuminated only when the hood or trunk lid is opened by at least a predetermined amount.

Abstract: A lamp assembly having a gravity-actuated switch which is adapted to be mounted to the underside of a hinged cover member of a vehicle to illuminate a compartment of the vehicle when the hinged member is opened to a predetermined extent. The lamp assembly has a housing, a lamp disposed in the housing, first conductor means for electrically interconnecting a first electrical terminal with one terminal of the lamp, second conductor means for electrically interconnecting a second electrical terminal with a first contact point, and third conductor means for electrically interconnecting the other terminal of the lamp with a second contact point. The assembly has a switch for automatically turning on the lamp when the housing is moved to a first angular orientation and turning off the lamp when the housing is moved to a second angular orientation.

Abstract: In the method and apparatus of the invention, plural materials, such as a liquid resin and curing agent, are delivered to a dispenser body including a mixing cavity and a mixing element carried in the mixing cavity of the body and carrying a dispenser outlet. The mixing element sealingly engages the mixing cavity and forms, within the mixing cavity, a central chamber into which the plural materials are delivered. The mixing element includes a first conduit extending longitudinally between a forwardmost opening and the central portion of the mixing element, and further includes a second conduit extending transversely between a sidewall opening to the central chamber and the first conduit and containing a static mixing insert. Plural materials delivered to the dispenser body are mixed in transit through the mixing cavity, the transverse second conduit and static mixer, and the first conduit and dispensed through the dispenser outlet.
