Abstract: A cleaning cartridge and method for cleaning the electrical contacts of a connector block of a computer or video game having a cartridge receptacle and wherein the cleaning cartridge has a housing to be inserted into the cartridge receptacle and the housing contains a board having a one and the other end, the other end of the board having on at least one planar surface a cleaning material adapted to clean the electrical contacts of a connector bar, the other end extending outwardly of the housing, and wherein the board is adapted to move in a slidable manner between by the user grasping the other end of the board between an outwardly extending, non-cleaning position and inwardly extending, cleaning position.
Abstract: A cleaning cartridge device for cleaning the electrical contacts with a computer video game cartridge receptacle 92. The device includes a housing for insertion in the cartridge receptacle 92, a board 56 with cleaning material at the one end 82 within the housing, the board 56 having a handle end 76 extending from one end of the housing, and the board 56 slidably movable by the use of the handle end 76 between defined stop positions of a cleaning position for the electrical contacts with the cleaning material in contact with the electrical contacts and a non-cleaning position spaced apart from the electrical contacts.
Abstract: A new and improved cysteinamide reducing agent, such as cysteinamide hydrochloride, capable of breaking sulfur to sulfur cystine bonds in human hair for use in permanent wave and hair straightening compositions, to provide additional set retention in hair sprays, styling aids, mousse and hair bodifying compositions, and to provide the hair with additional body when incorporated into shampoos, conditioners and conditioning shampoo compositions. In one embodiment, the cysteinamide reducing agent compounds are used for the reducing agent in permanent waving of human hair in the form of a mild alkaline permanent wave reducing composition and in a method of permanently waving or reshaping human hair that provides a strong, long lasting curl.
Abstract: An aqueous aerosol or non-aerosol hair styling aid or mousse composition, and method, including a water-soluble or water-dispersable fixative resin in an amount of about 2% to about 40% by weight of the compositon, particularly about 2% to about 15% by weight of the composition; an electrolyte; water in an amount of about 30% to about 90% by weight of the composition; alcohol in an amount of 0% to about 30% by weight; and, with the aerosol compositions, a liquefied propellant gas, such as dimethyl ether, in an amount of about 5% to about 50% based on the total weight of the aerosol composition.
Abstract: A safe, rechargeable, battery-containing power pack having a housing, a battery compartment for batteries to supply DC power to a battery-operated device, a printed circuit board to provide for the recharging of the batteries employing AC household power, and an interlock plug to act as an interlock switch and pivotably movable between an AC use position extending outwardly from the housing to recharge the batteries and an AC non-use, DC power, battery-operating position within a recess in the housing.
Abstract: An antidandruff shampoo composition includes a suspension composition for particulate matter to achieve an unexpected reduction in shampoo separation while maintaining acceptable shampoo viscosities and foaming levels. The suspension composition includes a suspending alkanolamide and/or a wax ester in conjunction with an ethylene-maleic anhydride resin or a polyacrylic acid resin to yield anionic surfactant-based antidandruff shampoos or improved stability and aesthetics.

Abstract: A hair shampoo-conditioner composition including an anionic cleansing surfactant, such as an alkyl sulfate or an alkyl ether sulfate, and a polymeric conditioning compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein n is a number in the range of from two to about 1000; m is a number in the range of from one to about 18; p and r are numbers in the range of from one to about four, in a suitable carrier, and having a pH of from about 2.5 to less than 7, to cleanse the hair, to generate a copious and stable foam volume and to impart improved wet stage and improved dry stage conditioning properties to the hair in a single application of the composition is disclosed.
Abstract: A portable, compact, battery-operated light apparatus for use with a compact computer game having a LCD video screen for enhancing the visibility of the LCD screen in use, which light apparatus comprises a body with a battery compartment and having side panels which define an open viewing space and lights provided in the body element to provide for indirect lighting of the viewing space, the light apparatus comprising a portable, compact, battery-powered light apparatus and which includes ridges on the light apparatus which snap in a releasable manner onto the grooves in a compact computer game video system to releasably secure the light apparatus in position over the LCD video screen of the compact game system.
Abstract: A magnifier apparatus for use with a hand-held video display apparatus which magnifier apparatus has a frame with a magnifier lens, the frame secured to a support, the support releasably adapted to be secured in a snap-in relationship to the sides of the housing of the video display apparatus in an upright, correct position, the frame with the magnifier lens adapted to move between an open, use position over the screen of the video display apparatus and a closed, non-use position nested within the support.

Abstract: A compact, portable combined light and magnifier apparatus for use with portable computer, such as a portable, hand held video game, having a video screen, such apparatus comprises a body composed of a plurality of panels which define an open space generally the size of the video screen and a battery compartment to supply power and lighting means within the body to provide indirect lighting to the video screen, the body and the battery compartment containing ridges which provide for the body to be releasably secured tothe computer with the video screen. The apparatus includes a cover to fit over the open viewing space of the body an dpivotable between a closed, compact position adjacent the face side of the body and an open, use position extending generally perpendicularly outwardly from the face side of the body.
Abstract: A hair conditioning shampoo composition comprising an emulsion of water; about 5 to about 65 percent by weight of an anionic cleaning surfactant, such as ammonium lauryl sulfate; from about 0.1 to about 20 percent by weight of a cationic di-long chain alkyl quaternary nitrogen-containing conditioning agent, wherein the long alkyl chains bonded to the nitrogen atom have from about 12 to about 22 carbon atoms per alkyl chain, such as distearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride; from about 0.5 to about 10 weight percent of a long chain fatty alcohol having about 8 to about 32 carbons in the long chain, such as stearyl alcohol; from about 0.5 to about 10 weight percent of a non-volatile silicone; and about 0.1 to about 5% of an anionic cross-linked polymeric suspending agent, such as a polymer of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid.
Abstract: A document holder clip which comprises a right angle support bracket to be secured to the side of a monitor screen, an extending arm pivotably engaged with the support bracket and a document holder clip adaptable for slidable movement on the upper edge of the extending arm, which clip has two generally parallel clip arms and opposing jaw edges and includes a resilient "V"-shaped flat strip biasing element integrally extending from the top of one clip arm and having a free end which fits beneath an inward ridge on the other clip arm, the biasing element resiliently holding the jaw elements at the other end in a biased, closed position and on the application of finger pressure to open the jaws to an open position to permit the insertion of a document.

Abstract: A combined keyboard storage monitor support and document shelf which includes a keyboard storage apparatus for supporting a keyboard in combination with a storage shelf apparatus for supporting items in storage and for moving the supported items between a storage non-access position and an extended open position. The apparatus comprises a spaced apart pair of elements each including a support element having a side inverted U-shaped opening to store a keyboard therein, a slideable shelf, a top support shelf to support a computer monitor including short downwardly extending back and sides, a first and second channel means for engaging the tops of the support elements, a slideable storage shelf positioned directly beneath the support shelf located in a drawer cavity, the storage shelf having a plurality of elongated side rails to permit the shelf to be manually and smoothly slideable between a document stored position and an extended document acccess position.
