  • Patent number: 12120540
Abstract: A smart channel switching method based on history channel data, and its terminal device and readable storage medium are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: capturing a history current noise value or transmission capacity of each channel of a wireless device and obtaining a healthrate of the channel; obtaining a health ratio by the transmission quantity of each channel and the corresponding healthrate; comparing the health ratio with a threshold, and switching the connection of the wireless device to a channel with the health ratio below the threshold when the health ratio reaches the threshold. In this way, this invention obtains a health ratio by the history current noise value or transmission capacity of each channel, compares the health ratio with the threshold to determine whether the transmission capacity is sufficient, and switches a channel accordingly without requiring any change of the communication protocol.

  • Patent number: 11012248
Abstract: A power over Ethernet (PoE)-based redundant power management method manages a redundant power supply electrically connectable to plural network devices through plural twisted pairs respectively, so as to transmit first electricity and digital information to each network device. The redundant power supply receives a power demand message from, and is informed of the electric power needed by, each network device electrically connected to the redundant power supply. In response to determining the second electricity each such network device has been receiving is interrupted, the redundant power supply outputs to each such network device the corresponding first electricity equal to the electric power needed by the network device through a corresponding Ethernet port. In response to receiving a power-off request message from any such network device, the redundant power supply stops outputting to that network device the corresponding first electricity.

  • Publication number: 20180198866
Abstract: A method for preventing a verification flaw by controlling a session time and a session data traffic is applied to a networking equipment that stores a list of verified terminal devices, a temporary permit list, and a walled garden. When a terminal device is connected to the networking equipment, the networking equipment records the media information of the terminal device on the temporary permit list and starts recording a session time and session data traffic of the terminal device. Once the session time or session data traffic exceeds its upper limit (e.g., 10 minutes or 20 MB), the networking equipment cuts off connection with the terminal device, only when a frame received from the terminal device has a matching target address in the walled garden, the networking equipment will send the frame out therethrough. Thus, the terminal device, must be verified before it can access full network services.

  • Publication number: 20150281656
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a safety monitoring system, which includes a plurality of terminal devices (e.g., smartphones) each configured to wirelessly and periodically send out a report message and a home server storing positioning data created according to the strengths of signals transmitted by each terminal device from different locations within an indoor environment (e.g., an apartment) respectively. According to the positioning data, the home server divides the indoor environment into a plurality of monitoring areas (e.g., living room, bathrooms, kitchen . . . ). When the home server receives the report message and determines the monitoring area where each terminal device is located according to the positioning data, the home server uploads entry of identification data and the monitoring area corresponding to each terminal device to a cloud server through the Internet. Thus, the current status of the carrier of each terminal device can be checked through the cloud server.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a light guide structure, which includes a conical light guide element being a hollow cone and having an inner surface configured as a reflective surface, a light-emitting element (e.g., an LED) provided in a pointed end of the conical light guide element, and a partially blocking reflective element covering an opening on the other end of the conical light guide element and including a light-permeable region and an opaque reflective region. The opaque reflective region corresponds in position to an optical axis of the light-emitting element, and the light-permeable region is located around the opaque reflective region and outside the optical axis. Thus, when the light emitted by the light-emitting element passes through the conical light guide element, the light will be repeatedly reflected by the reflective surface and the partially blocking reflective element until being fully projected to and penetrates the light-permeable region.
