Abstract: The present invention is to provide an external box for containing one or more HDDs, which comprises a housing; an abutment plate fitted on a front surface of the housing and including at least one slit and at least one first positioning member both on either side; and a panel including at least one latch and at least one second positioning member both on either side. The latches are adapted to insert into the slits and the second positioning members are adapted to securely engage with the first positioning members so as to secure the panel onto the front surface of the housing from a first direction without involving any tools. Alternatively, a user can detach the panel from the housing from a second opposite direction also without involving any tools.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a detachable electronic device comprising a first housing and a second housing releasbly secured together. Within the first housing there is provided a first circuit board including a first connection member provided at one end of the first circuit board and extended beyond one end of the first housing to connect to an electronic apparatus for communicating current and signal between the first circuit board and the electronic apparatus, and a second connection member provided at the other end of the first circuit board and extended adjacent to the other end of the first housing. Within the second housing there is provided a second circuit board including a third connection member provided at its one end and extended beyond one end of the second housing to connect to the second connection member. Thus, the first and the second housings are assembled together, enabling the first and the second circuit boards to communicate current and signal therebetween.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for detecting a wireless network signal that sets at least one service set identity in a wireless network signal detector, so that after the wireless network signal detector receives a wireless network signal and identifies that the wireless network signal includes the service set identity, the wireless network signal detector can output a prompt message for facilitating users to determine whether or not the wireless network device is connected to a wireless network.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a foldable base with a main body comprising a long groove, a latching section, a latched section and an insert slot; wherein the main body can be folded along the long groove to connect the latching section with the latched section to define a three-dimensional shape or unfolded to separate the latching section and the latched section and then spread the main body open along the long groove to define a sheet. The insert slot is coupled to a fixed base being coupled to a main system such as a personal computer (PC) or a personal digital assistant (PDA) by a transmission line, enabling a user to insert an electronic device such as a flash drive or a MP3 player through the insert slot into the fixed base.

Abstract: A network switching apparatus for supplying power to network communication equipment through a twisted pair line comprising a power control circuit having a plurality of sockets, each socket connected with a RJ-45 connector so as to electrically connect the switching apparatus to a corresponding socket of the communication equipment through the twisted pair line of RJ-45 connector, and having the ability to identify, in accordance with specifications stipulated in IEEE 802.3af, whether the communication equipment has the capability of receiving power from each socket through the twisted pair line prior to supplying power to the communication equipment.

Abstract: A network information security zone joint defense system is provided, which monitors a network connection status through a network defense appliance. Once the network defense appliance detects a user computer in a network system triggering the conditions of a network zone joint defense, the network defense appliance immediately and automatically connects to a specified network switch, such that the network switch interrupts the network access service provided for the user computer, so as to effectively prevent virus or hacker from continuing spreading virus to the same or other subnet of the network, and further prevent the virus from starting a DDoS attack or paralyzing the network server, and thus greatly reducing the damages and losses to the network system.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a power measurement system comprising a PC and a voltage meter, which comprises a power to voltage converter to receive input signals from a wireless communication product to be tested and convert the input signals into voltage signals, a voltage meter to measure a voltage value of the voltage signals, and a PC to read the measured voltage value of the voltage meter and convert the read voltage value into an actual power based on a created calibration table. As an end, a correct power measurement is obtained.

Abstract: A method for effecting Web-based network manager using Web configuration comprises the steps of establishing a manager process module and a manager database module on a workstation; operating the manager database module to use a Hyperlink feature of Hypertext contained in a HTML file to activate a Web browser; enabling a connection to each network device based on node information of each network device stored in the manager database module; and obtaining status information of each network device in a domain from an embedded Web agent in the network device, so as to directly manage network devices through Web browser without additionally installing a management module in the workstation.
