Abstract: This invention relates to an antimicrobial composition, especially one which provides synergistic anti-dandruff or anti-acne efficacy. This is achieved through a judicious combination of select essential oil actives chosen from thymol, or terpineol and certain antimicrobial lipids selected from sapienic acid, palmitoleic acid, sphingosine, dihydrosphingosine, phytosphingosine, and 6-hydroxysphingosine. These compositions can be delivered through very many different types of personal care products e.g. shampoo, conditioner; face wash or hand wash product; or a leave on cream/lotion.
Abstract: A piece of inflatable sports equipment, preferably for water sports, is provided with a board (1) which can be inflated with a gaseous medium, preferable air, by means of a pump unit (6) having a compressor (7). The pump unit (6) is integrated together with the compressor (7) in the board (1) and preferably comprises assemblies (8, 9, 11) which drive the compressor and are installed together in a housing (12) which can be removed from and inserted into the board (1) and fastened therein. Inflation of the board can therefore be carried out anywhere and at any time during use of the board, since the means necessary for this are installed in the board itself.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for verifying identity of a speaker is proposed. A low dimensional p-vector based on a speech of the speaker is extracted from the generated high dimensional speaker model and is then compared with the stored specific speaker's p-vector obtained previously during the enrollment process. The resulting biometric score is then used to determine whether to verify the speaker, or not.

Abstract: Methods for reticle enhancement technology (RET) include inputting a target wafer pattern, where the target wafer pattern spans an entire design area. The entire design area is divided into a plurality of tiles, each tile having a halo region surrounding the tile. A proposed mask for the entire design area is iterated until the proposed mask meets criteria towards producing the target wafer pattern. Each iteration includes calculating a predicted wafer pattern for a subset of the plurality of tiles; and updating the proposed mask for that tile; where all tiles in the subset are calculated before the next iteration.
Abstract: The method includes two technological segments (i) a reduction segment and (ii) an oxidation segment that are interconnected by various support technological processes for the regeneration of solutions and gases and heat recuperation. The reduction segment includes an electrolysis that is performed from a solution of chloride salts of an energy carrier. During the electrolysis, these elements reduce to a lower oxidation state, solidify on the electrodes or precipitate to a solid state. The solid substance thus obtained is the energy carrier that can be stored outside of the electrolyser until a need for additional energy emerges. During the electrolysis, chlorine gas develops that is collected and dissolved in water. An HCl solution is regenerated, which is used in the oxidation segment. Oxygen is released in this process.

Abstract: A digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a method for operating the DAC are disclosed. The DAC receives, over a first channel, a control signal that is transmitted in accordance with a binary protocol. The DAC also receives, over a second channel different than the first channel, data that is transmitted in accordance with a multilevel communication protocol that is different than the binary protocol. The DAC determines a plurality of first and second voltages based on the received data and identifies, based on the control signal, a time when data transmission or reception is switched between first and second antennas. In response to identifying, based on the control signal, the time when data transmission or reception is switched, the DAC outputs the determined plurality of first voltages to a first antenna tuning circuit or the determined plurality of second voltages to a second antenna tuning circuit.
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods soft-tie learned parameters of a neural network(s). The soft-tying comprises: applying a common label to the first and second learned parameters; and as part of the training, and in response to the first and second learned parameters having the common label, applying a regularization penalty to a loss function for the first learned parameter upon a determination that the first learned parameter is different than the second learned parameter. The learned parameters can be connection weights, node biases, and/or parametric model statistics. The application of the regularization penalty can be influenced by a soft-tying hyperparameter.
