Abstract: An improved method and structure is provided for constructing elastomeric pin arrays using a non-conductive medium and compression limiters. Pin to pin of the same elastomeric material, pin to pin of similar elastomeric material, or pin to metal cap structure interconnects are constructed using an elastomeric connection through a non-conductive medium. Compression limiting structures are mated to the non-conductive medium. This structure eliminates the need for PCB structures as the medium reducing manufacturing cost.

Abstract: Computer-based systems and methods add extra terms to the objective function of machine learning systems (e.g., neural networks) in an ensemble for selected items of training data. This selective training is designed to penalize and decrease any tendency for two or more members of the ensemble to make the same mistake on any item of training data, which should result in improved performance of the ensemble in operation.
Abstract: A method for exposing a pattern in an area on a surface using a charged particle beam lithography is disclosed and includes inputting an original set of exposure information for the area. A backscatter is calculated for the area of the pattern based on the exposure information. An artificial background dose is determined for the area. The artificial background dose comprises additional exposure information and is combined with the original set of exposure information creating a modified set of exposure information. A system for exposing a pattern in an area on a surface using a charged particle beam lithography is also disclosed.

Abstract: A pick-and-place system for plant embryos includes a tray for receiving a suspension of plant embryos. The tray is movable to repeatedly reposition the plant embryos. An identification system is proximate the tray for identifying a target plant embryo amongst the plant embryos in the suspension. The identification system is configured to identify the target plant embryo while the tray is moving. A robotic arm is proximate the tray and is in communication with the identification system. The robotic arm is actuatable to pick the target plant embryo out of the suspension while the tray is moving, and deposit the target plant embryo at a target location.

Abstract: A medical device for percutaneous or venous access for the purposes of administering a fluid to a patient or sampling from one is disclosed. Abstract: The present application relates to the field of neurological diseases, particularly to dystonia, even more particularly to primary dystonia, most particularly DYT1 primary dystonia. Abstract: A valve includes a flap, a tubular valve body defining a passageway, and a guiding device the flap relative to the valve body for pivoting the flap relative to the valve body about a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position of the passageway. The guiding device comprises a pin traversed by the pivot axis and comprising a body with a base and, opposite the base a free end resting against the valve body. The pin also comprises two lugs each protruding from the base in a direction opposite to the free end, the two lugs defining between them a slot, wherein an edge of the flap is received. Abstract: A blockchain file system provides access to a data storage volume on a blockchain. The blockchain volume is mounted by the host computing system in the same way as a conventional data storage volume from the perspective of the user space applications. The host computing system includes a local write-ahead blockchain journal that links bundles of mutations to the filesystem related to filesystem operations into a chain of digital signatures. One or more of the mutation bundles are included in a signed blockchain transaction that is broadcast to a network of the blockchain that, when confirmed into the blockchain, will carry out the filesystem operations on the blockchain data storage volume. Also provided is a novel blockchain addressing scheme, copy-on-write functionality, and de-duplication features write-ahead filesystem journal.
Abstract: An inner drum comprises lifting ribs extending along a generatrix of the inner drum, each being hollow inside, a water-splashing surface of each of the lifting ribs has permeable holes to allow a hollow part of each of the lifting ribs to communicate with an inside of the inner drum, and a rear end of each is arranged close to an inner drum bottom, and provided with a water outlet structure. A no-clean washing machine is installed with the inner drum, the inner drum is a closed container with an opening closed by a door. When the inner drum rotates at a high speed, the washing water is guided towards the inner drum bottom and flows to a center of the bottom along a water guide flow channel on the bottom, and is discharged out of the inner drum through a water outlet connector of a central joint.
