Abstract: A microfluidic transport system for transporting microdroplets in three spatial dimensions among layers of a layered microfluidic system. In an example arrangement, a first microfluidic layer for transporting microdroplets in two spatial dimensions responsive to electric fields created by electrical operation of electrodes is fluidically connected by one or more conduits to other microfluidic layers. Microdroplets can be transported through the one or more conduits so as to be moved among a plurality of layered microfluidic arrangements. The resulting layered system can be used for heat transfer, fluidic transfer, and other uses, and can be implemented using materials such as metal, glass, polymer, plastic, layered materials, fibrous materials, etc. In some applications the layered system can be implemented within a printed circuit board, integrated circuit housing.
Abstract: A system and method is provided for executing a conditional branch instruction. The system and method may include a branch predictor to predict one or more instructions that depend on the conditional branch instruction and a branch mis-prediction buffer to store correct instructions that were not predicted by the branch predictor during a branch mis-prediction.

Abstract: A method and system for providing an electronic form are described. The method and system include identifying a visible portion of the electronic form. The electronic form can include a control component at a component location of the electronic form that is operable to receive an input from a user. The method and system can then determine an accessibility state of the control component based on the component location and at least one of a display property of the display and the visible portion. The accessibility state can be a convenient state when the component location is suitable for the display but is in an inconvenient state when the component location is not suitable for the display. When it is determined that the accessibility state is the inconvenient state, the method and system involves displaying a transient control component, or a version of the control component, on the display.
