The tool is disposed along an longitudinal axis and includes a non-cutting main body, a narrowed area for retaining bone and a cutting tip, which includes cutting blades, each one of which is provided with a front cutting edge substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and a substantially lateral cutting edge that forms an angle of between 0 and 10° with the longitudinal axis. Spaces for receiving bone are disposed between the cutting blades and are connected to the narrowed area.

Abstract: An exercise device has a frame supporting guide links and foot support links. A cam system has a vertical control cam portion with a first and second offset vertical drive portion. Vertical control followers are pivotally connected to a vertical follower support and each has a control portion and a cam engagement portion engaging a vertical drive portion. Vertical control couplings couple the foot support links to the control portions of the vertical control followers. Pivotal motion of the guide links is decoupled from motion of the foot receiving areas along the path of travel having a vertical component of motion so that the user can achieve a foot path that is generally vertical or a blend of vertical and horizontal motion.

Abstract: Provided is a coordinated communication method and apparatus that may perform coordinated communication based on long-term channel information, for each sub-band. Base stations may exchange scheduling information of each sub-band with each other to determine a priority among the base stations, and may perform rescheduling for each sub-band based on the determined priority. The base stations may obtain the long-term channel information, and thus may reduce overhead occurring with exchanging of information between a base station and a terminal or between base stations, and may decrease damage due to a delay of channel information associated with a terminal.

Abstract: Provided is an electronic device that includes a touch panel configured to detect pressed coordinates and a pressing force from a change in capacitances, and a shape memory wire portion configured to restore its shape of shape memory wires by applying current through one or more shape memory wires of a first layer and a second layer accordingly. A display is configured to display a normal image and a corrected image. In addition, a processor is configured to provide a corrected image for a location of the touch panel which is currently being touched and to apply a current to the shape memory wire portion to restore the shape memory wire portion to an original shape.

Abstract: Fragrance leaches rapidly from capsules having shells made from cross linked gelatin into volatile silicone oils. Unfortunately such oils are much favored for anhydrous antiperspirant compositions. The rate and extent of leaching can be ameliorated greatly or nearly halted by employing as carrier oil, an ester oil or an ether oil, even in the presence of a significant fraction of volatile silicone oil. Consequently, the capability of antiperspirant compositions to generate detectable fragrance over an extended period after application to the skin is improved by employing ester or ether oil as all or part of the carrier liquid in which the antiperspirant is suspended.

Abstract: A method for the acquisition of a radionavigation signal carrying a spreading code with a quasi-infinite period, where the signal is sampled in baseband on a delay line and correlated with a local spreading code replica, the sampled signal is shifted on the delay line from one correlation to the other, where in order to correlate the signal with the local replica of the code, a plurality of sequences of the spreading code are generated, the code sequences being of the same duration, equal to the duration of the signal sampled on the delay line, and associated with the consecutive time ranges in the temporal alignment search space, where each of the code sequences is correlated with the signal sampled in a respective correlation operation, the correlation operations being executed in parallel for the different sequences of code.

Abstract: A tacrolimus injection preparation comprising tacrolimus, polyoxyethylene castor oil (35), and non-aqueous solvent is disclosed. Preferably the weight ratio of polyoxyethylene castor oil (35) to tacrolimus in the injection preparation is 10-20:1. The injection preparation significantly decreased the clinical risk.

Abstract: A mobile device pass through for signaling messages procedure allows smart devices to participate in and control multimedia communications by providing the ability to control multimedia communications to the smart device by the mobile device. A mobile device and a smart device establish a channel of communications between the mobile device and a web browser executing on the smart device, e.g. when both are connected to the same Wi-Fi access point. When the web browser accesses a web application that utilizes signaling messages to control multimedia content, the web browser will send signaling message requests to the mobile device. The mobile device, in turn, generates and forwards the signaling message. Media content is delivered directly to the smart device without passing through the mobile device or the established channel of communications.

The system comprises receiving a request to analyze calendar data stored on a user device, wherein the calendar data comprises the event; generating metadata for the event based on the analyzed calendar date; identifying at least one parameter related to the event; searching through a plurality of web sources for contextual data related to the at least one identified parameter; and providing the contextual data to the user device.

Abstract: A clamping mechanism for a beverage cartridge is provided, comprising: a frame; a tray suitable for receiving a beverage cartridge therein; a clamp; and an actuator. The tray is coupled to the frame to allow the tray to move between a brewing position and a loading position. The actuator is pivotably connected to the clamp and the clamp is pivotably connected to the frame to allow the clamp to be pivoted between a clamped position and an unclamped position on rotation of the actuator relative to the frame. The tray is engagable with the clamp during movement of the tray into the loading position to move the clamp from the unclamped position to a raised position.

Abstract: A system that investigates, identifies and cancels fraudulent transactions comprises a fraud detection server that receives a first dataset indicating a quantity of fraud-transactions. The first dataset is generated at least in part by a fraud-score model. The system receives a second dataset including a quantity of false positive fraud-transactions from the fraud transactions. The system calculates a fraud error rate using the quantity of fraud-transactions and the quantity of false positive fraud-transactions. The system generates a new fraud-score model when the fraud error rate exceeds a predefined error rate.

Abstract: To reduce the contribution of data communications for background applications to network congestion, the examples implement techniques in which congestion detection leads a mobile device to impose restriction on data communications by any application running in the background. The mobile device may detect congestion and/or the need to restrict background data communications in response to a message or instruction received from a node of the network; or the mobile device may itself more directly detect congestion from monitoring and analysis of device/network interaction behavior and trends. Upon detecting congestion, the mobile device turns on a background data restriction. For example, with the restriction on, all applications only running in the background without direct user interaction are blocked from sending requests for data communication to/through the network. However, with the restriction active, the mobile device can still provide data communication in response to user interaction with the device.
