  • Patent number: 6041616
Abstract: A cool air circulation apparatus in a refrigerator provides an upper curved lip extended from a front face of a lower shelf in a refrigerating chamber, by which cool air contacting with ambient air is discharged outside of the refrigerator and only the cool air adjacent to the refrigerating chamber flows into the refrigerating chamber. Accordingly, even though a door of the refrigerating chamber is open for a long time or is opened and closed frequently, ambient air does not enter into the refrigerating chamber and thus cooling efficiency of the refrigerator increases. As a result, a constant temperature in the refrigerating chamber is maintained at all times, thereby being capable of maintaining freshness of a stored foods for a long time.

  • Patent number: 6044091
Abstract: A method for scheduling a plurality of cells of a call via a connection linking a multiplicity of nodes which include a source node and a destination node is provided. A frame counter which counts down the time slots of each frame to be reset to a frame size is assigned to each node of each connection. All the frame counters at all the nodes are pre-synchronized on a connection basis based on propagation delays and delay bounds so that each upstream count of the frame counter in the upstream node is previously correlated to a downstream count of the frame counter in the downstream node. So the eligible time of a cell at each node can be determined without delivering scheduling information from an upstream node to a downstream node.

  • Patent number: 6037969
Abstract: A received television program is blocked out when a rating of the program is not within a scope of a preset rating. A rating signal is extracted from a video signal of the television program, and the rating signal is decoded to detect the rating of the program. The rating of the program is compared with the preset rating and an automatic frequency control (AFC) circuit is forced into an inoperative state to block out an output of the received television program when the comparison shows that the rating of the detected program is not within the scope of the preset rating. Accordingly, the blocking-out function against improper programs can be achieved by detecting the rating of the received program and by making the AFC circuit inoperative.

  • Patent number: 6034940
Abstract: In an optical pickup actuator, a lens holder has an objective lens and a penetrating hole for placing the objective lens. A pair of bobbins make contact with both side surfaces of the lens holder. A focusing coil and a tracking coil are wound around each of the bobbins in orthogonal directions to each other. A bottom plate spaced under the lens holder is installed. A pair of yokes are formed upwardly on the bottom plate at the outsides of the bobbins. A pair of magnets are formed on inside surfaces of the yokes for giving magnetic flux to the focusing and tracking coils. The magnetic flux has an effect only on some coil portion between the bobbin and the magnet, however it has no effect on another coil portion of the bobbin opposite to the magnet. The bobbins serve as internal yokes. A lens holder suspension part has a suspension supporting plate on the bottom plate and a suspension PCB fixed therewith.

  • Patent number: 6035428
Abstract: An apparatus deinterleaves decoded symbols and outputs the deinterleaved symbols in an appropriate form for external devices. In order to achieve the deinterleaving and outputting processes, the apparatus sequentially stores the decoded symbols in response to enable signals and produces output data of P bits based on the stored decoded symbols by using two memory groups which alternately perform the storing and the producing processes. The operations of the two memory groups are controlled by an input control block and an output control block. The input control block produces the enable signals to control the two memory groups to thereby sequentially store the decoded symbols to the two memory groups. The output control block selects one of outputs provided from the two memory groups and provides the selected output as the output data of P bits.
