The support member includes a fastening portion coupled to the drive device, and a connection frame spaced apart from the support frame. The heat dissipating blower further includes one or more vibration-attenuation members disposed between the connection frame and the support frame.

Abstract: A refrigerator having an ice-making device evaporator in addition to a refrigerator storage room evaporator. The ice-making device includes an ice tray and a cooling pipe contacting an outer surface of the ice tray. A refrigerant flows in the cooling pipe and directly cools the ice tray. The ice-making device evaporator receives the refrigerant from a condenser and supplies it to the cooling pipe. A heat insulation member wraps around the cooling pipe and can prevent the cooling pipe from exchanging heat with ambient air.
Abstract: A refrigerator including a moisture absorbing unit configured to absorb moisture in the cold air surrounding the evaporator. The moisture absorbing unit includes a moisture absorbing material. Therefore, undesirable frosting on the evaporator can be effectively prevented. The moisture absorbing unit can be heated by a defrosting heater disposed proximate to the evaporator and the moisture absorbing unit. Thus moisture in the moisture absorbing material can be removed and the moisture absorbing material can be repeatedly used.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include a connection pipe and a method of manufacturing the connection pipe for an evaporator of a refrigeration device. In the connection pipe and method, high-frequency welding is performed while a first pipe is at one side of a tube and a second pipe is at another side of the tube are welded, and a first curvature portion is in the first pipe and a second curvature portion is in the second pipe. Even though the connection pipe according to embodiments of the present invention is forced or pressed to connect a suction pipe to the second pipe, the connection pipe may not be deformed or damaged due to a structural characteristic during installation of the evaporator in the refrigeration device.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes ice tray devices and methods. In one embodiment, ice tray is included in an ice-making device of a refrigerator. The ice tray can be configured to uniformly distribute water to a plurality of ice-making spaces included in the ice tray. The ice tray can include water supply grooves that provide paths through which water is allowed to flow in the tray body. The dimensions of the water supply grooves can vary enabling control of water and ice formation depth of the water supply grooves can become gradually larger from one end portion of the tray body toward the other end portion of the tray body.
Abstract: An ice making duct for a refrigerator unit includes a cooling duct configured to allow cooling air to be movable in a longitudinal direction therein. Both ends of the cooling duct are connected to an ice making chamber such that the cooling air circulates through the ice making chamber. The ice making duct includes an evaporation coil configured to be wound around the cooling duct. The evaporation coil cools air in the cooling duct to generate cooling air through a process of heat exchange with a refrigerant. The ice making duct includes a heater configured to heat frost generated in the cooling duct forming defrosted water.

Abstract: A washing machine with a liquid additive supply device capable of sensing an amount of liquid additive contained therein. A buoyancy body and a sensing unit are disposed in a reservoir tank of the liquid additive supply device. The vertical position and therefore the distance between the buoyancy body and a sensing unit vary with the surface level of liquid additive in the reservoir tank due to buoyancy effect. The buoyancy body may include a magnetic body and the sensing unit can detect the intensity of the magnetic body. The surface level of the liquid additive is too low, the sensing unit can generate a signal indicative of liquid additive shortage.
