Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine including an air storage unit configured to store air therein; a compression unit configured to communicate with the air storage unit and the outer tub, and to compress the air in the air storage unit by compressing water from an outer tub of the washing machine; and a water spraying tube connected to the compression unit and the tub cover. Further, the washing machine includes an opening and closing unit configured to open and close a flow path of the water spraying tube, wherein the opening and closing unit is configured to cause the water to be sprayed into an inner tub using compressed air from the air storage unit.

Abstract: A dispenser on refrigerator including a touch pad-type of lever for dispensing water supplied from a water purifier. The dispenser includes a main body, an ice discharge port, an ice guide, an ice discharge lever and a water discharge port. A PCB substrate is mounted on the front side of the ice guide. The touch pad-type lever is mounted on the PCB substrate and configured to receive a user request for discharging water and accordingly control a state of the water discharge port. The refrigerator also ice maker coupled to the dispenser, and detectors for detecting the amount of ice and water contained in the ice maker and the water purifier respectively. The touch pad on the touch pad-type of lever can display the amount of ice and water contained in the ice maker and the water purifier respectively.

During the process of assembling the door handle with the door, the engaging projection may be rotated in the first direction until it engage with a first stopper to. The second stopper can stop rotation of the door handle in the second direction when the engaging projection engages with the second stopper.

Abstract: A refrigerator equipped with a door opening device that can be triggered to facilitate door opening when a door handle is moved by a user in either of the two permitted opposite directions. A first link member is coupled to the door handle and can be rotated in the same direction as the door handle. A second link member is coupled to the first link member. The second link member is configured to be rotated by the first link member when the door handle is rotated in one direction, and to remain stationary when the door handle is rotated in another direction. When door handle is rotated, the first or the second link member can cause a slide member to slide out of the refrigerator door partially to press against the main body, thereby opening the door.
