  • Patent number: 10874473
Abstract: To provide a container for a medical device, which enables easy removal of wrapping, thereby significantly reducing the labor for unpacking at the delivery destination such as a pharmaceutical company or a medical institution. Furthermore, the provided container for the medical device enables easy removal of wrapping even during an automated process in a filling machine for medical solutions, for example. In this container for a medical device, a holder holding at least one medical device is placed inside a container body having an opening at the top, and the opening is sealed with a gas-impermeable film. When sterilizing the exterior of the container using a sterilization gas, the sterilization gas does not permeate into the container due to the gas-impermeable film, so the medical device and the holder thereof placed inside the container are never exposed to the gas.
