Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a bodyshell structure for a motor vehicle, wherein a sheet-like textile support element impregnated with a curable matrix material is provided and, following the positioning of suitable reinforcing and moulding elements, moulded around at least one mould core, whereupon the matrix material is cured. After the removal of the at least one mould core, a single-piece bodyshell structure joined by adhesive force remains. The invention further relates to a bodyshell structure produced by means of this method.
Abstract: In a hybrid transmission for a hybrid motor vehicle, with split power driving ranges, discrete gear steps and two electric drive motors (33, 34), a transmission arrangement is provided which results in low rotational speeds of the transmission elements, in particular of the planets while at the same time, the electric drive motors (33, 34) are disposed adjacent to one another at the input end of the transmission next to an internal combustion engine to which the transmission is connected.

Abstract: In a method of protecting the occupant in a vehicle seat, particularly in a passenger car (the vehicle seat comprising at least a seat surface, a backrest and a headrest), upon detection of a present or imminent rear impact, by means of an active movement of the backrest and/or of the headrest, a force is applied to the vehicle occupant in the direction of the effect of the impact force occurring as a result of the rear impact.
Abstract: The invention relates to a speaker device for a hands-free device in a vehicle, comprising at least one microphone (5) that is arranged on a guide element (6) encompassing a safety belt (4), wherein the guide element (6) is fixed to a free end (7.1) of a holding element (7), wherein a first line section (8.1) of a signal line and/or a supply line (8) of the microphone (5) is arranged along the holding element (7). According to the invention, one attachable end (7.2) of the holding element (7) that is opposite the free end (7.1) of the holding element (7), can be fixed in particular to a vehicle seat associated with the safety belt (4) by means of a detachable mechanical connection (9), wherein the connection (9) comprises at least one electric contact for the microphone (5).
Abstract: A battery comprising a plurality of individual cells that are formed by heat conducting reciprocal housing plates that are positioned at a distance from each other at least in sections so as to form fluid-permeable flow-through channels. A fluid flow guiding unit is disposed on at least one edge side of the individual cell housing of each individual cell.
Abstract: A solid polymer fuel cell comprising a membrane electrode assembly that is in adhesive contact with a first flow field plate around the circumferential edge of the membrane electrode assembly and in non-adhesive contact with a second flow field plate, and an elastomeric manifold seal member that circumscribes at least one manifold opening of the first flow field plate and the second flow field plate. In this configuration, the adhesive substantially seals a first reactant gas while the manifold seal member substantially seals a second reactant gas, thereby improving sealing reliability and simplifying the seal design without overly compressing and damaging the circumferential edge of the membrane electrode assembly.

Abstract: In a load shift transmission for a utility vehicle having a transmission input shaft, a split group, a main group and a range group, a dual clutch with two input shafts, a main shaft and a countershaft with input constants including loose gear wheels, one loose gear wheel of an input constant is selectively rotationally fixedly connectable by means of shift elements to either one of the input shafts which can in each case be coupled by means of clutches (K1,K2) to the main transmission input shaft, the countershaft can be driven by one of three input constants with power being transmitted via the countershaft in all forward gears with the exception of a direct gear. The arrangement provides, with a simple design, for the possibility to carry out sequential shifts and multiple up-shifts and multiple down-shifts without an interruption in traction force.
Abstract: Improvements in startup time for an electrochemical fuel cell system from freezing and sub-freezing temperatures may be observed by minimizing the coolant volume in the coolant subsystem. In particular, this may be accomplished by having a two pump—dual loop cooling subsystem. During startup, one pump directs coolant through a startup coolant loop and after either the fuel cell stack or the coolant temperature reaches a predetermined threshold value, coolant from a main or standard coolant loop is then directed to the fuel cell stack. In an embodiment, coolant from the standard loop mixes with coolant in the startup loop after the predetermined threshold temperature is reached.

Abstract: The invention relates to a battery (B) with a plurality of flat cells (1) forming a cell assembly (Z) that are arranged one after the other and are electrically interconnected in series and/or in parallel, wherein at least one electrical component is integrated into the cell assembly (Z), in that it is arranged at least partially between two flat cells (1) of the cell assembly (Z) or at one end of the cell assembly (Z) and is connected to the cell assembly (Z) in a form-fit or force-fit manner.
Abstract: A device is provided for fixing a child seat to a support structure of a motor vehicle, including a plastically deformable holding device, which is fixed to the support structure and has a holding element to which a fixing element, which is attached to the child seat, can be fixed. In order to permit a defined movement of the holding element during deformation of the holding device, the holding device has at least one bending axis along which the holding device can be deformed when a force, such as a tensile force, acts on the holding element.

Abstract: A motor vehicle including a preventive protective system which includes safety devices actuated as a function of information obtained from a vehicle state sensor system and evaluated in a data evaluation and control device. In the associated process, the data evaluation and control device compares the recorded information with at least one triggering threshold value and actuates at least one safety device which is associated with this driving state when a criticality of the driving state is identified. Triggering of the associated safety device is actuated with respect to a force time gradient as a function of the identified criticality of the driving state.
Abstract: A catalytic material for a fuel cell comprising a catalyst supported on a catalyst support, wherein the catalyst support comprises a Period IV transition metal phosphide is disclosed. A membrane electrode assembly (MEA) and fuel cell stack comprising such a catalytic material are similarly disclosed.
Abstract: A motor vehicle, such as a passenger car, having a preventive action protection system is provided, which includes safety devices which are actuated as a function of features which are based on input variables from a safety sensor system in a data evaluation and control device, wherein, when a critical driving state is detected, the data evaluation and control device actuates at least one safety device which is assigned to the driving state. The features are each assigned a specific weighting relating to the criticality of the driving state.
