Abstract: A valve actuation device for actuating a first and second gas exchange valve of an internal combustion engine. A tilting lever is pivotable between a first starting position and a first actuation position and a valve bridge is movable between a second starting position and a second actuation position. A coupling device is switchable between a locking state, in which the valve bridge is movable out of the second starting position into the second actuation position via the coupling device by the tilting lever, and an unlocking state, in which, despite a movement of the tilting lever out of the first starting position into the first actuation position, there is no movement of the valve bridge out of the second starting position into the second actuation position. The coupling device is held on the tilting lever such that the coupling device is pivotable with the tilting lever.
Abstract: A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle includes a wheel linkage. The wheel linkage has a bearing region and a spring element. The wheel linkage has a first linkage arm with a first connecting element. A second linkage arm has a second connecting element. The second linkage arm has a first longitudinal region having the second connection element and a second longitudinal region attached to the first longitudinal region and disposed between the bearing region and the first longitudinal region. The second longitudinal region is offset in relation to the bearing region and the first longitudinal region downwardly in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle in an installation position of the wheel suspension.

Abstract: An energy absorption component for a motor vehicle includes an energy absorption element that has a longitudinal element with first and second support regions that support the longitudinal element on a bumper crossmember of the motor vehicle and on a shell construction element of the motor vehicle, respectively. A strengthening element is disposed on an outside of the longitudinal element and has first and second support regions that support the strengthening element on the bumper crossmember and on the shell construction element, respectively. Abstract: A travel route selection system for an electric truck includes a map information acquisition unit that acquires map information including transport route information on transport routes. An electric power consumption map storage unit is adapted to pre-store a stop-time electric power consumption map used to estimate electric power consumption during the stoppage time during which the electric truck stops for a predetermined period with high-voltage equipment kept in operating state. A stoppage time estimation unit estimates stoppage time on each transportation route. An electric power consumption estimation unit estimates the electric power consumption on each of the transportation routes based on the stoppage time estimated by the stoppage time estimation unit as well as on the stop-time electric power consumption map. An optimal route selection unit selects an optimal route based on fundamental information including information on the amount of electric power consumption of each of the transport routes.
Abstract: An internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle includes a crankshaft, a camshaft, a cylinder, a piston movably disposed in the cylinder and coupled to the crankshaft for driving the crankshaft, a first gas exchange valve which is assigned to the cylinder, a first valve clearance compensation device, where via the first valve clearance compensation device the first gas exchange valve is displaceable between a first open position and a first closed position by a first cam of the camshaft, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to align the camshaft such that the first valve clearance compensation device is pressure-loaded in the idle state of the crankshaft by a plateau area assigned to the first cam to hold the first gas exchange valve in the first open position.

Abstract: A circuit arrangement of a motor vehicle includes a high-voltage battery for storing electrical energy, an electric machine for driving the motor vehicle, a converter via which high-voltage direct current voltage provided by the high-voltage battery is convertible into high-voltage alternating current voltage for operating the electric machine, and a charging connection for providing electrical energy for charging the high-voltage battery. The converter is a three-stage converter having a first switch unit which is assigned to a first phase of the electric machine. The first switch unit has two switch groups connected in series which each have two insulated-gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) connected in series, where a connection is disposed between the IGBTs of one of the two switch groups, which connection is electrically connected directly to a line of the charging connection.

Abstract: A loading space device of a front end of a motor vehicle includes a loading space which is displaceable between a stowage position accommodated in the front end and an access position extended at least partially out of the front end. A delimiting wall configured as a flap delimits the loading space and in the access position of the loading space is displaceable to a loading position. The flap is configured as a covering element to cover, in the loading position, a component of the front end disposed in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle in front of the loading space. In the access position, as opposed to the stowage position, the loading space is disposed sloping towards an exterior of the motor vehicle.
Abstract: A feeding device for a manipulator arm has at least one joint, in particular of an industrial robot, having a flexible cable package via which at least one process medium can be fed at least substantially along the end effector of the manipulator arm and having a flexibly slack guide cover element enclosing the cable package. A stiffening device having a holding device is provided, which is arranged in a fixed position on the flexibly slack guide cover element. At least one stiffening element held by the holding device is provided, which, in an activated state of the stiffening device, is acted upon by stiffening energy such that the flexibly slack guide cover element and consequently the cable package are stiffened by the stiffening element.
