  • Publication number: 20030094202
Abstract: The invention concerns a pressure reduction valve (1) with a housing (2a, 2b), a valve element (6) being displaceable in the housing and acted upon in one direction by a pressure in a low-pressure chamber connected with an outlet (11) and in the opposite direction by the force of a spring (16), which is arranged in a spring chamber (17) in the housing (2a). It is endeavoured to improve the dynamic behaviour of the pressure reduction valve. For this purpose, a pilot flow path (7, 23, 21) connects the low-pressure chamber (5) and the spring chamber (17) with each other.

  • Patent number: 6562767
Abstract: A lubricant for wire, which is insulated by means of a lacquer coating, and which is used for forming the stator windings of an electrical refrigerating compressor, consists of one or more compounds of the formula CH3—Xn—R, wherein X is a linear or branched hydrocarbon group with n carbon atoms, wherein n is up to 22, and R may be hydrogen or a plurality of different radicals, either in a pure form or dissolved in a suitable solvent. The lubricant is applied to the wire to reduce its coefficient of friction, and it is remarkable for its compatibility with the environmentally unharmful refrigerants, such as R134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane), which are used today in refrigerating compressors without capillary tube obstructions.

  • Patent number: 6561024
Abstract: A method and apparatus for creating a finite clearance space between two parts under blind assembly conditions involves threading an elongated sensor into a housing containing the part to be sensed by first placing a spacer element on an operative surface of the sensor wherein the spacer element has a radial thickness equal to the finite clearance space. The sensor is screwed unto the housing in a radial direction towards the operative surface of the sensor until the spacer element engages the operative surface, thereby specifically locating the operative surface a precise radial distance from the operative surface.

  • Patent number: 6533695
Abstract: A hydromechanical transmission includes a hydrostatic transmission with coaxially arranged fixed and variable displacement hydrostatic units connected to a planetary gear set. The input shaft of the variable unit extends coaxially through the hollow shaft member of the fixed unit to drive the ring gear of the planetary gear set. The hollow shaft member drives the sun gear of the planetary gear set. An input clutch can be provided to allow the hydromechanical transmission to achieve zero output speed. A charge pump driven by the input shaft of the variable unit can be utilized to insure that the hydraulic units are primed whenever the input shaft turns. The input torque can be applied from either end of the variable unit. A power takeoff shaft option is available from the end of the transmission opposite the input.
