Abstract: Provided are devices, computer-program products, and methods related to removing redundant data associated with frames. For example, a method can include storing a plurality of reference data sets in a reference database, where a reference data set is associated with a media segment. The method can further include receiving, by a server, cue data for a frame. The cue data includes a plurality of pixel data samples from the frame, and the frame is associated with an unidentified media segment. The method can further include identifying an absence of a pixel data sample from the cue data for the frame, and matching the cue data for the frame to a reference data set. The matching can include using a previous pixel data sample from a previous frame. The previous pixel data sample corresponds to the pixel data sample absent from the frame, and the reference data set is associated with a media segment. The method can further include determining the unidentified media segment is the media segment.

Abstract: A gateway encryption service is used to ensure consistent, source independent tokenization for payment accounts and synchronizing payment account information with merchants. A consistent, evergreen merchant-facing token is generated and used for each payment account for the merchant, ensuring that regardless of the payment method used by the customer (e.g., plastic card point-of-sale, pay wallet, saved card information) for the same underlying account, the merchant has a single token. Further, if the account number for the underlying payment account changes (e.g., the card expires or is stolen) the merchant-facing token remains consistent. The evergreen token ensures that the system functions more efficiently, saving resources in processing and storage and ensuring less network traffic for failed transactions. The system further implements encryption and security despite the consistent tokenization, further saving resources.

Abstract: A distance measurement apparatus 1 includes: a TOF camera 10 having a light-emitting unit 11, a light-receiving unit 12, and a distance-calculating unit 13 to measure a distance to the subject on the basis of light transmission time; and an image processing unit 17 that creates a distance image of the subject from distance data measured by the TOF camera 10. The image processing unit 17 determines whether or not there is a detection target in the created distance image. If there is no detection target in the distance image, the light emission intensity control unit 18 decreases the emitted light intensity from the light source of the light-emitting unit 11, and the operation mode is switched to a power saving mode in which the pixel addition control unit 19 increases an addition ratio of a neighboring pixel signal of the light-receiving unit 12.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for a data discovery solution which harnesses the power of crowdsourcing to improve automated data curation. This is done in two complimentary ways: (a) large scale collective curation through anonymized multi-tenancy, and (b) and through internet scale matching and validation gaming platform using mobile application game. The result is the most extensive library of semantic-technical mappings of the enterprise data, which are immediately at hand to provide a fast, easy and a good understanding of the enterprise data. The data discovery solution forms a gateway for governing and unlocking value from big data.

After the completion of the purchase, the mobile application can transmit an electronic receipt to the mobile device of the third-party payor.

A schedule to update the master record for the user may be determined, and the schedule may be based on information included in the master record for the user. Likewise, the system does not divulge to prior trial holders who is requesting subject information for subsequent trials. Biographical information including biometric identification can be used to identify subjects in the database. A further method allows a subject to confirm the data in the database.
