Abstract: Information about an electronic message that is from a sender for an intended recipient is received. It is determined whether an electronic message account of the sender of the electronic message is likely an independently controlled account. In response to the determination that the electronic message account of the sender of the electronic message is likely an independently controlled account, the electronic message is analyzed to determine whether the message is an automatically generated message. In response to the determination that the message is an automatically generated message, a security action is performed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to novel and advantageous systems and methods of processing and managing data in critical or large-scale systems, such as airliner, automobile, space station, power plant, and healthcare systems. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a rules-driven data and control method mapped onto complementary physical architecture for a more reliable operational system. By maintaining an algebraic encoding of control and application data at fine granularities, whether static or in transit, it is possible to detect, isolate, and correct many errors that would otherwise go undetected. This more dynamic and precise method addresses cases where deteriorating conditions or cataclysmic events affect much of the system simultaneously, including the control system itself.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for linking data records in memory. The system, method, and computer program product includes accessing a first record stored in memory, the first record holding information describing a first person and accessing at least one additional record stored in memory, the additional records holding information describing additional persons. The method continues by parsing the information of the first record and additional record and assigning the parsed information to predefined categories within the respective records. After assigning the information into categories, a similarity score between categorical information in the first record and categorical information of additional records is determined. A category of an additional record is then modified based on the similarity score, so the additional record is associated with the first person.
Abstract: A charging device includes a charging member and a cleaning member. The charging member electrically charges a surface of a charging target member and is rotatable while being in contact with the surface of the charging target member. The cleaning member is in contact with a surface of the charging member and removes a foreign object attached to the surface of the charging member. Surface free energy of the surface of the charging member is 5.00 dynes per centimeter or more. A dynamic friction coefficient of the surface of the charging member and a surface of the cleaning member falls within a range from 0.48 to 0.88 both inclusive. The surface free energy and the dynamic friction coefficient satisfy a relation represented by the following expression (1). E??63?+69??(1) “E” is the surface free energy in dynes per centimeter, and “u” is the dynamic friction coefficient.
Abstract: Quantitative evaluations of friction within a customer experience may be provided to reduce abandonment and improve conversion of transactions. One or more transactions may be identified. One or more personas corresponding to the one or more transactions may be identified. One or more customer friction factor (CFF) scores corresponding to the one or more transactions may be determined. A given CFF score may be a quantification of an aspect of a given transaction that has a negative impact on a customer experience associated with the given transaction. The one or more CFF scores may be compared with one or more valid comparisons relating to the same industry and the same transaction type. One or more friction points may be identified based on the comparison of the one or more CFF scores. Addressing a friction point may reduce abandonment and improves conversion associated with transactions.
Abstract: A system and method for querying a database is disclosed. Database tables are represented as nodes in a model. Each node is associated with at least one leaf.
