Abstract: The degree of fatigue is quantified to be able to display. A fatigue degree measurement device 1 includes: a living body signal peak value detecting means 23 to detect the peak values of respective cycles of the original waveform of the living body signal data; a power value calculating means 24 to calculate the difference between a peak value on the upper limit side and a peak value on the lower limit side for every prescribed time period from respective peak values obtained by the living body signal peak value detecting means 23 to set the difference as a power value; and a power value inclination calculating means 25 to determine the inclination of the power value, to calculate an integral value by absolute value treatment of the time series signals of the inclination of the power values to determine the integral value as the degree of fatigue. As a result, it becomes possible to realize quantification of a human fatigue degree.

  • Patent number: 7192090
Abstract: A recliner adjuster for appropriately adjusting an inclination of a seat back with respect to a seat cushion includes a worm rotatably mounted on the seat cushion, and a helical gear held in engagement with the worm and mounted on the seat back via an auxiliary locking mechanism. The auxiliary locking mechanism includes a pair of external gears connected to the helical gear and held in engagement with a portion of the seat back, and a pair of internal teeth mounted on the seat cushion so as to accommodate the pair of external gears therein, respectively. During normal use, the seat back is held at a predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion by the engagement of the helical gear with the worm, while when a load greater than a predetermined value is inputted to the seat back, the pair of external gears are partly deformed to engage with the pair of internal teeth, respectively, to thereby hold the seat back at the predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion.

  • Publication number: 20070013217
Abstract: A seat cushion of a vehicle seat has a base seat whose front end is anchored to a front frame of a frame for a sitting portion, and whose rear end is connected to a rear frame of the frame for a sitting portion via helical tension springs. A supporter, supported via helical tension springs at a pair of left and right side frames of the frame for a sitting portion, is disposed at a lower side of the base seat so as to support a femoral region of a seated person. The supporter and the helical tension springs structure an auxiliary vibration system whose mass element is a femoral region of a seated person. The auxiliary vibration system is made to function as a dynamic vibration absorber with respect to up-down vibrations of a main vibration system whose mass element is an upper body of a seated person.

  • Patent number: 7156457
Abstract: Seat structure designed to reduce weight and improve various functions such as impact absorbency, vibration absorbency. A torsion bar arranged along a width direction, and an arm connected to the torsion bar and enforced in a direction of falling backwards in a normal state are provided in the rear of a seat cushion, and a cushioning member is arranged between a supporting frame supported by the arm and a front frame provided at the front of the seat cushion, whose front edge is vertically movable rotationally. When working a pedal or standing up, since the front edge of the front frame is forced to move in a downward direction by a leg portion, a haunch supporting portion of the cushioning member is relatively lifted upward, so that support force to lift up the haunches works.

  • Publication number: 20060279120
Abstract: In order to improve seating comfort and vibration absorbency, a structure including a first torsion bar unit 70 disposed in the rear of a seat cushion, and a second torsion bar unit 80 disposed in the front of the seat cushion, and a base net 60 stretched between a rear supporting frame 74 of the first torsion bar unit 70 and a front supporting frame 84 of the second torsion bar unit 80, is provided. Owing to the elastic force of a front torsion bar 81 of the second torsion bar unit 80 positioned in the front of the seat, a sense of stroke at the time of seating is enhanced. Owing to the elastic force of a rear torsion bar 71 of the first torsion bar unit 70 positioned in the rear of the seat, similarly to the conventional structure, a load of a seated person can be sufficiently received and a stable seating comfort can be obtained. Since both the first torsion bar unit 70 and the second torsion bar unit 80work together to vibration inputted during driving, vibration absorbency is more enhanced than ever.

  • Patent number: 7090300
Abstract: The structure is formed by serially connecting a torsion bar and a coil spring via a arm and a supporting frame to thereby elastically support a flat-type supporting member, and by disposing a cushioning member for seat cushion provided with a spring characteristic closely analogous to a load-to-deflection characteristic (spring characteristic) of the muscle of a human body above the flat-type supporting member. Accordingly, it is possible to make a spring characteristic for working when supporting a load of a human different from a spring characteristic for working when removing vibration even with an extremely simple structure. In other words, the structure has an excellent function to make the spring constant at work when removing vibration, especially when removing a high frequency component.

Abstract: In order to provide a lumbar support which conforms to the curve of the spinal column so as not to give a feeling of incompatibility or other unpleasant feeling, and is easily adjusted to meet a user's preference, a lumbar support 10 of the present invention is structured such that a bulging member 30 provided with two housing parts 31 and 32 to house a cushioning material for adjustment 34 is fixed on the back surface of a flexible plate 20, which is incorporated so that the front surface of the flexible plate 20 is positioned to the front surface side of a back cushion 120. Accordingly, the curvature of the two housing parts 31 and 32 does not affect a feeling of contact with the waist as it is, but works as a feeling of contact with larger curvature owing to the flexible plate 20, which results in suppression of pressure on the nervous system between the third and fourth lumbar vertebrae.
