Abstract: This mixing machine comprises a mixing head that attaches to a container, forming a closed mixing receptacle. The head is pivotably supported in a frame such that the closed mixing receptacle can pivot to perform the mixing. The mixing head also has a rotationally driven tool which cleans the bottom of the head, supplying a low-energy transport stream for material to at least one second tool carried by the head. The second tool performs the mixing and is located inside the movement path of the bottom-cleaning first tool. The first tool has a scoop positioned in the direction of rotation of the tool with its edge facing in the direction of rotation and outward in the radial direction. The first tool comprises a first scoop section, a second, wall-cleaning scoop section and a recess open toward its closure more remote from the wall through which the second tool passes during rotation of the first tool.
Abstract: Parenteral (injectable) celecoxib emulsions and nanoemulsions are disclosed as are their use to treat pain in patients so afflicted. The emulsions are generally oil in water emulsions often comprised of an oil phase including an oil and a lecithin wherein the mean droplet size of the discontinuous oil phase is about 200 nanometers or less.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for regulating the temperature of the calibration volume of an apparatus for comparative calibration of temperature sensors to a target temperature, wherein said calibration device comprises heat sources and/or heat sinks, which are in thermal contact via a heat conducting part or a plurality of heat conducting parts with the calibration volume, wherein in at least one process step the real thermal state is calculated, wherein the Kalman filter is fed the measurement values of a temperature sensor located in the calibration device, and in at least one more process step the future thermal state is calculated using a thermal model of the dynamics of states.
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for segmentation, processing (e.g., preprocessing and/or postprocessing), and/or feature extraction from tissue images such as, for example, images of nuclei and/or cytoplasm. Tissue images processed by various embodiments described herein may be generated by Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining, immunofluorescence (IF) detection, immunohistochemistry (IHC), similar and/or related staining processes, and/or other processes. Predictive features described herein may be provided for use in, for example, one or more predictive models for treating, diagnosing, and/or predicting the occurrence (e.g., recurrence) of one or more medical conditions such as, for example, cancer or other types of disease.
