Abstract: A fastening device for an internal rear view mirror of motor vehicles to be installed on an inner side of a windshield contains a holding part which is held in position on the windshield by adhesive bonding, to which holding part is detachably fastened a mirror foot of the internal rear view mirror. In order to obtain a statically precisely defined, highly rigid connection between the holding part and mirror foot, it is provided that the mirror foot, in its mounted operating position, is supported directly on the holding part merely by a six-point support and is fastened to the holding part by a separate retaining device.
Abstract: A process to manufacture 4-methoxybenzoic acid from anethole. This raw material can be obtained from a variety of plant materials and thus offers a renewable alternative to fossil raw materials. Another aspect of the present invention is the use of 4-methoxybenzoic acid gained from vegetal anethole as raw material in cosmetic and dermatologic products and/or aroma components in foodstuffs.

Abstract: A valve drive of an internal combustion engine with a camshaft including cams for actuating gas-exchange valves, wherein at least one cam, comprising several cam faces, is guided nonrotatably but with freedom of axial movement on the camshaft, wherein a stroke profile, which cooperates with an actuating pin for the axial displacement of the cam, is assigned to the associated axially displaceable cam, and wherein the stroke profile of the axially displaceable cam in question comprises several stroke curves. A first stroke curve and a second stroke curve of the stroke profile are contoured both in the axial direction and in the radial direction such that the contour in the axial direction of the stroke profile of the camshaft is responsible for a defined axial displacement of the associated cam, and the contour in the radial direction of the stroke profile of the camshaft prevents the stroke curves from colliding.

Abstract: A valve drive of an internal combustion engine, with a camshaft including cams for actuating gas-exchange valves, wherein at least one cam, which includes several cam faces, is guided nonrotatably but with freedom of axial movement on the camshaft; wherein a stroke profile, which cooperates with an actuating pin for the axial displacement of the cam or cam piece, is assigned to the associated axially displaceable cam or an axially displaceable cam piece comprising several cams; and wherein the stroke profile of the axially displaceable cam or cam piece in question includes intersecting stroke curves. A guide element is assigned to the end of the actuating pin which can be introduced into the stroke curve of the stroke profile of the associated axially displaceable cam or cam piece, this guide element being supported in such a way that it can rotate or pivot around the axis of the actuating pin.

Abstract: A system for setting a spatial position of a vehicle relative to a foundation, on which the vehicle is standing with its wheels, in particular in a wind tunnel, is provided. The adjusting system includes a plurality of linear actuating devices, which are assigned to each one of the wheels and which are mounted on the vehicle in the area of the respective wheel and with which in the area of the respective wheel a distance between the foundation and a vehicle chassis can be set. The adjusting system includes a plurality of measuring devices, which are assigned to each one of the actuating devices, for determining the distance between the foundation and the vehicle chassis in the area of the respective wheel.

Abstract: A control system for injection molding machines comprises a memory means (16) for storing set values. Further, a signal input for the transmission of actual values to the control system is provided. A first control means (18) is used for the transmission of a control field with consideration to previous values. A second control means (20) is provided for the transmission of a correction value, in particular with consideration to a deviation of the actual value from the set value. A correlation means (22) serves to correlate the control field values with the correction value for outputting a control variable.
Abstract: A three-dimensionally embossed inscription containing a plurality of interconnected letters is connected, for dimensional stability, to a holding frame during a manufacturing process via supporting elements. After the end of the machining and manufacturing processes, the inscription is separated from the holding frame and has a shape which corresponds to the connected shape on the holding frame.

Abstract: A chassis system for a motor vehicle has a device for roll stabilization and a device for wheel camber adjustment. The device for roll stabilization and the device for wheel camber adjustment have one or more hydraulic actuating devices. The device for roll stabilization and the device for wheel camber adjustment are coupled to one another by a common hydraulic system. Accordingly, a link is provided between the roll stabilization arrangement and the camber adjustment arrangement in the motor vehicle. An active camber adjustment arrangement is realized by using the hydraulic power supply and the valves of the roll stabilization arrangement.

Abstract: A wheel is provided for a test vehicle. The wheel has a rim and a hub, and whereby at least one force sensor is placed in the flux of force between the hub and the rim. A test stand is provided with the test vehicle that has multiple vehicle wheels and one or more of these vehicle wheels is embodied as a wheel with a force sensor placed between the hub and the rim. An appropriate procedure is provided for determining the aerodynamic characteristics of the test vehicle. Especially with a test stand equipped with a wide belt, the forces relevant to measurement of the drag coefficients can be reliably measured with the aid of the specific wheel with the force sensor. Use of overhead scales that have an undesired effect on the flow can be dispensed with.

Abstract: A probe system includes a probe head and a transceiver element. Due to contact of a stylus, a sensor signal is able to be generated by a sensor element. The probe head and the transceiver element are configured such that a wireless data transfer is able to be produced between them, so that readiness information is transmittable from the probe head to the transceiver element. The readiness information is transmittable by two bit strings including high bits and low bits, the bit strings being transmittable following defined time intervals, and the second bit string having fewer high bits than the first bit string.
Abstract: A scanning head for an optical position-measuring system includes a receiver grating, formed of photosensitive areas, for the scanning of locally intensity-modulated light of differing wavelengths. The receiver grating is formed from a semiconductor layer stack of a doped p-layer, an intrinsic i-layer and a doped n-layer. The individual photosensitive areas have a first doped layer and at least a part of the intrinsic layer in common and are electrically separated from one another by interruptions in the second doped layer.
