  • Patent number: 10238300
Abstract: A passive planar thermo-optical structure for detection of a region of changed temperature on patient's skin is provided. The thermo-optical structure has a layered structure including a transparent film layer, a thermochromic layer, a securing layer, an adhesive layer, and a protective layer. At least one dye in the thermochromic layer is above a temperature threshold range of 31°-37° C., which adopts the first color and keeps it in a temperature range greater than or equal to 0.6° C. A width of this temperature range, in which the color is indefinite, is smaller than 0.3° C. A method of diagnosing allergy using the above-structure is provided. The method includes the steps of stimulation, measurement and comparison. After stimulating three regions of patient's skin, an evaluation of extent of histamine reaction is performed. Then, the extent of histamine reaction in the third region is compared to that in the first and second regions.

  • Patent number: 10234277
Abstract: A length-measuring device includes a scanning carriage for scanning a measuring graduation that is to be guided longitudinally in the measurement direction on a guide surface. A coupling couples the scanning carriage to a drive dog rigidly in the measurement direction and resiliently transversely to the measurement direction. A first spring is disposed between a connecting element of the coupling and the drive dog and exerts a pressure force on the scanning carriage at a first position so as to press the scanning carriage against the guide surface. A second spring is disposed between the connecting element and the scanning carriage. The second spring is spaced apart from the first spring in the measurement direction and exerts a pressure force on the scanning carriage at a second position spaced apart from the first position in the measurement direction so as to press the scanning carriage against the guide surface.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a plate-shaped heat exchanger for batteries or converters for generating electricity, to a plate-shaped heat exchanger for batteries or converters for generating electricity, and to an assembly of plate-shaped heat exchangers and converter or battery cells. A plate-shaped heat exchanger includes two frame parts, which peripherally surround one profiled heat-conducting element each, wherein the profiles of the profiled heat-conducting elements form channels in the connected state of the frame parts, through which channels a fluid can be conducted. In the connected state, the frame parts form at least two supply channels for feeding and leading away of fluid, from which supply channels openings extend to the channels of the profiled heat-conducting elements. The frame parts have at least one connection for the feeding and leading away of fluid for each supply channel, which connection can be connected to a connection of a frame part of a further heat exchanger.
