Abstract: A motorized spindle drive for an actuator, particularly for an aerodynamically effective surface of an aircraft, may have a spindle and a motor that comprises a mechanical transmission element engaging the spindle in order to drive said spindle and causing a relative movement in the axial direction between the spindle and the motor and that is connected to an element that is fixed in place relative to the motion of the spindle, said element absorbing the torque of the motor. According to the invention, the bearing absorbing the torque of the motor comprises a detachable coupling that detaches upon a predetermined torque being exceeded and releases the motor in the sense of a free movement in the axial direction of the spindle relative to the fixed element.
Abstract: An adhesive composition for detachable adhesive bonds is based on adhesive matrices and expansion material, the particles of the expansion material being at least partially encapsulated.

Abstract: A data transmission between a device and a first and a second optical maintenance port involves a transmission reflector in the form of a solid-state bound data line having a gap and a Y coupler. This allows recording of the communication between the device to be read out and the first optical maintenance port in real time by means of the second optical port. Likewise, communication by means of electromagnetic energy is possible between the first and the second optical maintenance ports.

Abstract: A method of data fusion and providing information in a computer system regarding the performance of work tasks on a technical product is provided. Product information on the technical product from a product information database, image information from an image information database and work process information from a work process database are assembled in the computer system to form a data set of a fused process instruction. This data set is processed to form a combined display file that is sent to a display unit, whereupon the fused process instruction is displayed in an optically visible manner.

Abstract: Hazardous objects in the field of explosives ordnance disposal or safety controls are identified using a sensor and image data generating arrangement and a comparison unit. The sensor and image data generating arrangement examines the object and produces an image thereof, which is compared by the comparison unit to known stored reference images. These reference images are digital images of reference objects. In this manner safety controls and explosives ordnance disposals can be organized safely and efficiently.
Abstract: A limiting circuit has a signal input and a signal output for limiting an output signal that is present at the signal output and that can be fed to a further circuit connected to the output of the limiting circuit. A voltage connection for feeding a bias voltage and a transistor are present, wherein the gate connection of the transistor is connected to the voltage connection by means of a first matching circuit and to the signal input by means of a second matching circuit.
Abstract: A man-machine interface for assisting a pilot during takeoff or landing of an airborne vehicle in reduced external visibility includes a display which represents a virtual scenario from the perspective of a virtual observer who is himself located behind the airborne vehicle and is in the same flight attitude as the airborne vehicle itself. The virtual scenario includes a base plane which symbolizes an idealized ground surface, calculated from the instantaneous value of the altitude above ground and the instantaneous flight attitude data of the aircraft. The base plane is bounded by an artificial horizon and is continuously updated with the instantaneous flying state data and the instantaneous height above ground. The virtual scenario also includes a symbol which represents the airborne vehicle, and the position of the symbol relative to the base plane represents the current flight attitude and the instantaneous height of the airborne vehicle above ground.

The system is characterized in that it is equipped with a device for the simultaneous generation of a common laser beam with different wavelengths and pulses for the simultaneous operation of the laser ion mobility spectrometer, the absorption spectrometer and the fluorescent measuring device. This avoids the disadvantages of the known solutions in prior art and provides an improved solution for the highly sensitive and highly selective trace analysis of organic material, in particular hazardous substances such as explosives and warfare agents in the air.
Abstract: A method and a device are provided for predicting passenger movement in airports. Based on movement characteristics such as walking speed class and one or more points of interest of an individual passenger that are preferred by this passenger, a path is predicted for this passenger through the airport from a check-in counter, via the points of interest, to a gate. With reference to the predicted path, an estimated time of arrival of the passenger at the gate can be predicted.
