Abstract: A controller receives sensor data from a sensor of a water system in response to operation of the water system in an automation phase. The sensor generates data indicative of oxidant level of the water system. The controller determines observed water chemistry behavior based on the sensor data and compares the observed water chemistry behavior to learned water chemistry behavior. The water chemistry behavior may include a rate of increase or decrease. The controller performs an automation action in response to the comparison. The automation action may include modifying addition of oxidizing chemistry to the water system, generating an alarm, or sending an alert. The controller may receive sensor data in response to operation of the water system in a learning phase and determine the learned water chemistry behavior based on the sensor data received during the learning phase.
Abstract: A system for continuously making-down a dry powder material is provided. The system may include a liquid supply system, a material feed system, a vessel, a filter, and an agitator. The vessel may receive a continuous supply of liquid from the liquid supply system and a continuous supply of dry powder from the material feed system. The liquid and material may be discharged continuously from the vessel. A filter may sealingly extend across the outlet to filter the solution exiting the vessel. The filter may include an upstream surface in contact with the inner volume of the vessel. The agitator may be disposed within the vessel and may be configured to agitate the contents of the vessel. The agitator may include a wiping member configured to contact the upstream surface of the filter while agitating the contents.

Abstract: A dishwashing machine is used for pre-rinse operation of soiled dishes. A cavity is configured and arranged to contain the soiled dishes. A nozzle is proximate the cavity and is in fluid communication with the cavity. An accumulator pan accumulates wash and rinse water including cleaning chemicals used in a previous cycle of the dishwashing machine. A fluid passageway interconnects the nozzle and the accumulator pan. A pump directs the accumulated wash and rinse water from the accumulator pan to the nozzle via the fluid passageway for pre-rinse operation of the soiled dishes in the cavity, and the nozzle directs the accumulated wash and rinse water into the cavity with the soiled dishes to assist in removing soil from the soiled dishes prior to a wash cycle of the dishwashing machine. The wash cycle utilizes fresh wash water.
Abstract: Caustic-free detergent compositions are provided. Detergent compositions including an aminocarboxylate, water conditioning agent, non-caustic source of alkalinity and water beneficially do not require the use of additional surfactants and/or polymers to provide suitable detergency and prevent scale build-up on treated surfaces and enhance protein removal from the treated surfaces. Beneficially the detergent compositions have a concentrate pH less than about 11.5. The detergent compositions are used with a sanitizer to employ the low alkaline detergent compositions are particularly suitable for use as low temperature ware wash detergents that beneficially reduce scale build-up. Methods of employing the low alkaline detergent compositions are also provided.

Abstract: A wearable computing device may be used to track the efficacy of one or more cleaning actions performed. The device can include one or more sensors that detect and measure motion associated with a cleaning event. In different examples, the movement data generated by the device can be compared to reference movement data to determine if the individual has cleaned all the objects they were expected to clean and/or if the individual has cleaned a given object sufficiently well. As another example, the movement data generated by the device can be analyzed to distinguish cleaning and non-cleaning movement actions as well as to distinguish different types of cleaning actions during cleaning movement. The quality of each cleaning action can be evaluated. In any configuration, the device may perform an operation in response to determining that ineffective cleaning is being performed, causing corrected cleaning action to be performed.
