Patents Assigned to Eldon Industries
  • Patent number: 5031820
Abstract: A rework station for soldering/desoldering of integrated circuits on a printed circuit board (PCB) wherein a gantry mounted on a base positions hot gas delivery and vacuum application apparatus over a PCB carried between carrier arms mounted on a horizontal arm slidably mounted in a pinion block for movement in the X direction with respect to the base. The pinion block is slidably mounted in the base for movement in the Y direction. A combination of sprockets and idlers transmits X and Y drives for driving the horizontal arm and pinion block from control dials mounted at the front edge of the base.

  • Patent number: 5029406
Abstract: A desirable sign structure can be formed using a hollow, integral, self-supporting thermoplastic polymer body shaped so as to include a hollow border or peripheral frame carrying front and back walls of the sign structure. Grooves adapted to carry extensions on interchangeable letters may be provided in the front wall. When such grooves are used, the back wall preferably includes grooves or furrows reinforcing the front wall. A slot can be provided in the front and back walls in such a manner as to separate the front and back walls into two panels or panel sections. When such a slot is used, guides or tracks are preferably employed so as to mount a shutter in the slots, the shutter being capable of movement in order to cover or uncover one of the panels or panel sections.

  • Patent number: 4969590
Abstract: An improved top-loading stapler having an internal mechanism for temporarily preventing the upper member of the stapler from closing during a loading operation. The improvement consists of an internal U-shaped spring clip that is attached to the upper member. The arms of the spring clip may be biased against the lower member such that the upper member is temporarily held in the open position under the frictional force between the arms of the spring clip and the lower member. The arms of the spring clip may also include inwardly extending detents, such that when the upper member may be positively held in the open position as the detents rest on the top of the lower member.

  • Patent number: 4953822
Abstract: An adjustable arm structure capable of being used to support comparatively heavy lamps, books and the like can be constructed so as to use two adjustable arm assemblies. Each of these assemblies uses two parallel links, one of which is attached to a sector plate. The sector plates are clamped together in the structure in a connecting joint at a location remote from where the links are pivotally connected to or in the connecting joint.
