Abstract: In a stacking tray combination of the kind containing a series of trays overlying one another in vertical spaced relationship and containing support means for holding said trays in that described position, the improvement is characterized by at least a portion of the support means comprising a hollow channel shaped member, which is connected to the side of a tray and which contains an open side portion; and by an insertable key means positioned within said channel shaped member, with said key means containing a key portion for linking said channel member within another portion of said support means; and with said key means further having a surface for closing the open side of said channel shaped member and together with that member simulating a thick solid post. In an additional aspect of the invention a cap is provided for covering the upper end of the channel member to add to the impression of solidness of form.
Abstract: A copy holder which is useful in holding items such as comparatively thick books can be constructed so that holdfasts capable of engaging whatever is held in the copy holder are movably mounted in openings in the copy holder. When so held these holdfasts are engaged by a conventional type spring loaded clamping member on the copy holder so that they are secured against movement as a result of such engagement.
Abstract: A signboard of a type used to carry replaceable letters or similar indicia can be improved by using at least one easily operated holder to connect the signboard to a support such as a wall. This permits the signboard to be easily removed from the support so that it can be held in a convenient manner as the content of a sign on the signboard is changed or altered.
Abstract: A collapsible container primarily useful as a wastebasket can be constructed utilizing a flexible, tubular vertically oriented peripheral wall reinforced by vertically extending stiffeners and a rigid bottom fitting within the peripheral wall in order to hold it in a normal open configuration. The bottom wall is capable of being positioned in and of being removed from the peripheral wall. In the absence of the bottom wall in the peripheral wall the peripheral wall may be collapsed.
Abstract: A circuit board and component manipulation device includes a housing having a circuit board clamp located thereon for positioning a circuit board on the housing. Hot gas for soldering or desoldering operations can be directed to components on the circuit board from one or the other of both an upper gas duct and a lower gas duct, both of which are fed gas from a blower. Each of the ducts include an individual heater located therein so as to control heat input to the gas passing through the ducts. The upper duct terminates in a discharge head which includes a nozzle attached thereto. The nozzle includes an appropriate opening so as to receive a circuit component. The opening is surrounded by a skirt with the gas ducts then positioned outwardly from the skirt. By positioning the component within the skirt, the component is isolated from hot gas utilized for soldering or desoldering of the connectors of the component to an appropriate circuit board.

Abstract: An electrical solder pot has a base with a hollow interior. A housing member also having a hollow interior attaches to the top of the base. The housing member further includes an opening at its top. A threaded socket is fitted in the base so as to accept a heating element which is oriented vertically within the hollow interior of the combined base and housing member. The heating element includes a threaded connector positioned near the opening in the top of the housing and accepts a threaded solder container. The solder container attaches to the top of the heating element and is positioned above the opening in the housing. The heating element includes an internal thermal conducting member located within a tube with an appropriate socket connector on the tube so as to connect to the socket in the base. A monolithic burnt ceramic heater is positioned within a cavity in the thermal conducting member.
