In the microwave oven, a screw covering part is protruded toward an inside of a waveguide for an installation of a motor, a convergence preventing part is formed at a portion of a cavity with a shape corresponding to that of the screw covering part and at a location corresponding to that of the screw covering part, and an elevated portion formed by modifying a portion of the cavity in order to uniformly distribute microwave scattered by a stirrer fan. Therefore, the microwave can be distributed more uniformly about the cavity and thereby food can be cooked more evenly and speedily.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for selectively controlling one or more display devices among a plurality of video display devices constituting a multivision by using a remote controller; a video display device; and a multivision system. The method for controlling the video display device in accordance with a present invention includes the steps of: displaying a predetermined access code when control data for canceling an OSD locking function is received from the outside; receiving control data including an access code from the outside; and entering a control mode using an OSD menu if the access code contained in the received control data is equal to the predetermined access code.

According to one embodiment, the SUPL enabled terminal includes a processor to process a SUPL location platform (SLP) mode indicator received in a SUPL initiation message, the SLP mode indicator indicating whether the terminal is to operate according to a proxy mode or a non-proxy mode.

Abstract: A home entertainment network includes at least one client device connected to a server over a network, and the client has an interface to removable media. Each piece of removable media has a unique ID, which can be pre-recorded beforehand or assigned by a server. A user selects content from a library in the server(s) and associates it with the ID of a piece of media through the server or client, with the server storing the media ID as well as information to identify the associated content. Unlike a conventional removable media system, however, no content data is on the media. To play back the content, a user simply engages the media with a client device, which retrieves the media ID, sends it to the server, and receives in exchange from the server the associated content.

Abstract: The present invention relates to plasma display panel and manufacturing method thereof to simplify the manufacturing steps and reduce cost of production. In the present invention, a black layer formed between a transparent electrode and a bus electrode is formed together with a black matrix at the same time. In this case, the black layer is formed together with the black matrix in one. Cheap nonconductive oxide is used as a black powder of a black layer. Specifically, in case the black layer and the black matrix are formed in one, the bus electrode is shifted to a non-discharge area to improve the brightness of the plasma display panel.

Abstract: LED controller devices (e.g., color changing modules) that may be connected to an LED fixture (e.g., an LED light strip or series of LED light strips) having multicolored LED lights or LED's which otherwise vary in intensity, color, brightness, etc. In some embodiments, the LED light strips may incorporate red/green/blue (RGB) LEDs or white/warm white/amber (WWA) LEDs. This LED controller device operates to vary the colors emitted by the LED lights in accordance with desired programs, colors, tones, light shows, etc. The controller devices of this invention may be used in a stand alone LED lighting fixture of part of a network, such as a network that uses a form of RS-485 architecture known as a “Digital Multiplexed Interface” (DMX) as frequently used for control of lighting.

Abstract: A method and apparatus prevents interference between a radio signal from RDS-TMC service provider for receiving traffic and travel data by an RDS-TMC receiver and a radio signal for transmitting audio, text, or image data from an FM modulator. The method includes the steps of starting an operation of the receiver system, stopping an operation of the FM modulator while keeping operation of the RDS-TMC receiver, examining whether an RDS-TMC signal from a service provider is available at a current location, receiving the RDS-TMC signal and retrieving RDS-TMC data therefrom, sending the retrieved RDS-TMC data to an audio/video system, and starting the operation of the FM modulator while allowing to output an FM signal from the FM modulator at allowable frequency bands which are outside of a blocked range to send data to the audio/video system.
